Junkie dead of heroin overdose; cops revive second man from holiday heroin party
LEXINGTON PARK, MD. — Is it really possible that dopers who decide to dope up with heroin haven’t heard the message that heroin kills?
St. Mary’s Sheriff’s Capt. Daniel Alioto reports that on November 25th, 2015 St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Deputies responded with rescue personnel to a home in Lexington Park for a medical crisis.
Police say that it was overdose time as the deputies found that two male subjects had overdosed after consuming opioids.
The cops were able to keep a forty-two-year-old man alive by giving him a dose of Narcan to overcome the effects of the heroin he had willing injected. The junkie was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital for more treatment.
Luck was not on the side of the second male, who police report was thirty-nine years old. The decision of this man to get high on heroin resulted in that decision being his last act, as he died as a result of that decision.
Police indicated that the family of the dead man has been notified, and the police will conceal the identity of the man even though an investigation is underway as to the source of the drugs.
