Fredericksburg Police Beat: Lamont Haskins and Michael Hart wanted as suspects in robbery of teens at Nader’s Grocery

  • Nader’s Grocery, 508 Caroline St, 6/13 3:20 p.m. Two 16-year-old males reported they went to Nader’s to buy drinks and encountered two unknown adult males inside the store. After the teenagers completed their purchase, the adults followed them outside. One of the men pushed the boys up against the wall and demanded that they empty their pockets. The boys did not have anything of value and the suspects allowed them to go. The investigating officer was able to identify the suspects, and warrants have been obtained charging Lamont Haskins, 49, of no fixed address with two counts of robbery and Michael Hart, 50, of no fixed address with two counts of attempted robbery. Haskins and Hart had not been arrested by the time of this report.

MONDAY, JUNE 15, 2015

Crime ReportROBBERY:

Nader’s Grocery, 508 Caroline St, 6/13 3:20 p.m. Two 16-year-old males reported they went to Nader’s to buy drinks and encountered two unknown adult males inside the store. After the teenagers completed their purchase, the adults followed them outside. One of the men pushed the boys up against the wall and demanded that they empty their pockets. The boys did not have anything of value and the suspects allowed them to go. The investigating officer was able to identify the suspects, and warrants have been obtained charging Lamont Haskins, 49, of no fixed address with two counts of robbery and Michael Hart, 50, of no fixed address with two counts of attempted robbery. Haskins and Hart had not been arrested by the time of this report.

LARCENY:

1400 block Prince Edward St, 6/14 11:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. A resident reported that an unknown person stole two scooters from her front porch. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

1500 block Winchester St, 6/13 – 6/14 5:00 p.m. A resident reported that an unknown person stole a bicycle from the front porch. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

Dixon Pool, 1300 Dixon St, 6/14 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. An employee reported that an unknown person stole a bag containing a firearm from his unsecured vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

VANDALISM:

St. George’s Church, 905 Princess Anne St, 6/11 – 6/12 11:00 a.m. A member reported that an unknown person spray painted graffiti on a wall at the church. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

600 block Jackson St, 6/13 – 6/14 12:00 p.m. A resident reported that an unknown person scratched and damaged a vehicle left in his care. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

DUI ARRESTS:

Lorrena Dickson, 52, of Fredericksburg was arrested on a charge of DUI in the 1700 block of Princess Anne Street. ARRESTS:

James Brown, 64, of no fixed address was arrested on a charge of shoplifting. Brown was released on a summons.

Arrests:

Chavonne Thomas, 31, of Fredericksburg was arrested on a warrant from Fairfax charging her with assault and battery.

Devin Williams, 39, of no fixed address was arrested on a charge of public intoxication.

Stephanie Wolcott, 34, of Fredericksburg was arrested on a charge of domestic assault and battery.

Donald Webb, 56, of Fredericksburg was arrested on a charge of public intoxication.

John Rooney, 24, of Woodbridge was arrested on a charge of public intoxication.

FRIDAY, JUNE 12, 2015

VANDALISM:

2300 block Cowan Blvd, 6/10 – 6/11 11:30 a.m. A resident reported that an unknown person defaced her vehicle with what appeared to be a black permanent marker. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

ARRESTS:

Magnolia Martin, 39, of Fredericksburg was arrested on a warrant from Spotsylvania charging her with shoplifting. Martin was released on her signature.

Teofilo Garcia, 37, of Fredericksburg was arrested on a charge of felony child abuse.

FREDERICKSBURG POLICE INCIDENTS

THURSDAY, JUNE 11, 2015

 LARCENY:

700 block Lee Ave, 5/21 – 6/9 6:00 p.m. A resident reported that an unknown person stole jewelry from a bedroom. The investigation is ongoing.

Angel Rides, 1948 Plank Rd, 6/9 – 6/10 8:25 a.m. The owner reported that an unknown person stole gasoline from the tank of a company-owned vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

Bonefish Grill, 1779 Carl D Silver Pkwy, 6/10 4:20 p.m. – 9:10 p.m. An employee reported that an unknown person stole her wallet from her bag in the employee break room. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

VANDALISM:

Walmart, 1800 Carl D Silver Pkwy, 6/10 8:45 a.m. A customer reported that an unknown person shattered a window on her vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

Panaderia-Aury, 3343 Fall Hill Ave, 6/9 – 6/10 2:50 p.m. The owner reported that an unknown person wrote graffiti on the front doors. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

ARRESTS:

Kimberly Blair, 50, of Spotsylvania was arrested on a charge of felony shoplifting.

Naisha Frederick, 29, of Spotsylvania was arrested on a charge of shoplifting. Frederick was released on a summons.

Christopher Jones, 38, of Fredericksburg was arrested on charges of domestic assault and battery, abduction, and assault by strangulation.

Frank Harzold, 43, of Fredericksburg was arrested on a warrant from Florida charging him with felony fraud.

Frederick McKinney, 45, of Fredericksburg was arrested on a charge of possession of marijuana. McKinney was released on a summons.

Jacob Waltman, 18, of Spotsylvania was arrested on a charge of trespassing. Waltman was released on a summons.
