Cocaine Dealing Charged by Dover Police
DOVER, DEL. — According to Dover Police Cpl. Mark Hoffman, an alleged drug dealer was nabbed with a good day’s supply of cocaine and a pocket full of moola.
Officers from the Dover Police Department’s Drugs, Vice, and Organized Crime Unit and Safe Streets Unit reportedly arrested a Dover man in possession of 13.5 grams of crack cocaine. Officers contacted Ronald L. Parker, 56, in his vehicle in the area of Minima Street and West North Street in Dover.
During the investigation, Parker refused to comply with officer’s commands and resisted arrest. After a brief struggle with officers, Parker was successfully taken into custody.
Police say that Parker was found to be in possession of 13.5 grams of crack cocaine and $905 cash.
Parker, of Hickory Lane in Dover, Del., was committed to James T. Vaughn Correctional Center on $66,000 secured bond. He was charged with the following crimes:
-Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance
-Possession of a Controlled Substance
-Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
-Resisting Arrest
