Wanted for robbery of Mexican grocery store in West Ocean City

Worcester County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the Cholula Authentic Mexican Store, located on Stephen Decatur Highway West Ocean City, Worcester County, for a reported strong arm robbery. During the investigation, it was found that Kenneth Larkin, entered the store and forced his way past the clerk.

Larkin pushed the clerk to the floor and was able to grab a PNC money bag from behind the counter before fleeing. Larkin was last seen fleeing the area on foot.
Larkin was last observed wearing a “do” rag on his head and sunglasses on his head, a blue tee shirt, and baggy blue jean shorts. Larkin also has numerous tattoos on each of his arms.
Charges are being completed for Larkin.

Real drugs, fake gun
OCEAN PINES — Worcester County Sheriff’s officers report: On June 27, 2014 at 1546 hours a Worcester County Sheriff’s Office Deputy stopped a vehicle at 63rd Street and Coastal Highway for an equipment violation.
The Deputy identified the driver as Brenden Waller, 20, of Ocean Pines, Maryland.
A K9 scan was conducted on the vehicle. The K-9 alerted to possible C.D.S. A search of the vehicle was conducted.
The Deputy recovered suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia, Percocet, and a replica handgun which was contained in the glove compartment of the vehicle and Mr. Waller was arrested and charged with Possession of a controlled dangerous substance. Mr. Waller was later taken to the District Court Commissioner and released pending trial.
In a big hurry with light out, Edward Allen Golden 2nd nabbed for DUI
BERLIN, MD. — On June 29, 2014 at approximately 0214 hours, a Worcester County Sheriff’s Office Deputy observed vehicle travelling west bound on Route 50 in Berlin with a broken tail light. The Deputy began to follow the vehicle. The Vehicle began traveling at a high rate of speed. The vehicle was also swerving all over the roadway and weaving in and out of traffic.
The Deputy stopped the vehicle and identified the driver as Edward Allen Golden 2nd, 27, of Preston, Md. Mr. Golden acted confused and disoriented and had the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on his breath. Mr. Golden did poorly on field sobriety tests and was arrested. Mr. Golden was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. He was released pending trial.
According to Maryland Court records, Golden is a regular ATM machine for law enforcement agencies. Every few months for the past several years, Golden has been charged with driving while suspended, driving with incorrect tags on a vehicle, operating a vehicle without insurance, refusing to show his driver’s license, failing to buckle up his seat belt, and other various traffic offences. Most of his tickets have been payable offences and a few were dropped.

SNOW HILL, MD. — On June 28, 2014 at approximately 1331 hours, a Worcester County Sheriff’s Office Deputy, stopped a vehicle for 75 in a posted 55 M.P.H. zone in the area of mile marker 11 of Worcester Highway near Snow Hill Md.The Deputy identified the operator as Robert Dion Beverly, 36, of Capital Heights, Maryland, and front passenger, Lakisha Devonne Byrd, 36, of Capitol Heights, Maryland. Mr. Beverly was issued a citation for the speed. A search of the vehicle produced marijuana and paraphernalia. Mr. Beverly was placed under arrest for possession of Marijuana less than 10 grams. Ms. Byrd was placed under arrest for possession of Marijuana less than 10 grams and possession of CDS paraphernalia. Mr. Beverly and Ms. Byrd were released pending trial.
He walks into building’s with a single bound!
OCEAN CITY, MD. On June 27, 2014 at approximately 2200 hours, a Worcester County Sheriff’s Office Deputy was on bike patrol on N. Division St. and Atlantic Ave, in Ocean City when he observed Harrison Cropper Brennan, 18, Salisbury Md. who appeared to be intoxicated. The Deputy noticed Mr. Brennan stumble while he walked. Mr. Brennan was also observed walking into the wall of a building and stumbling into several bystanders.The Deputy made contact with the Mr. Brennan. While speaking with Mr. Brennan, he became argumentative and began speaking loudly causing bystanders to stop and turn their attention to him. Mr. Brennan was placed under arrest for disorderly conduct and is awaiting trial.
Peter J. Monti was nervous about his stolen gun and drugs
OCEAN CITY, MD. On 06/27/2014 at approximately 8:02 pm, Worcester County Sheriff’s Office Deputies stopped a vehicle in the area of Golf Course Road and Sunset Avenue, Ocean City, Maryland after observing the operator utilizing a telephone while the vehicle was in motion. Deputies identified the operator as Peter J. Monti, W/M, age 27, of Florida and noted him to be extremely nervous. Deputies detected the odor of suspected marijuana emanating from the passenger compartment of the vehicle. During a search of the vehicle a loaded .380 Colt semi automatic handgun, hashish oil, and drug paraphernalia were located. The handgun was reported stolen in Florida.
Mr. Monti was charged with possession of the stolen handgun. Mr. Monti was also charged with two counts of marijuana less than 10 grams, and three counts of drug paraphernalia. Mr. Monti was later released on his personal recognizance pending his court appearance.
