ALLENTOWN, MD. — 07/02/2014 — Prince George Police report that they have issued a violation notice to the owners of Hangar Club ordering their business closed on June 27, 2014.

The Hangar Club is in the 6400 block of Old Branch Avenue in Temple Hills. The business was found operating without the required use and occupancy permit. It was also deemed an imminent danger to the safety and welfare of the public. On June 23, 2014, at about 12:30 am, a shooting took place in the parking lot of the Hangar Club. Two patrons suffered non-life threatening injuries in the shooting. A suspect has been arrested in connection with the shooting.

The Hangar Club will remain closed pending the outcome of an appeals hearing.
