Family of five killed in crash with tractor-trailer at Rt. 50 in Wye Mills; truck rolled over car – The crash occurred in the intersection as the truck impacted the car on the passenger side. Both vehicles traveled across the intersection. The tractor trailer apparently rolled over the car before coming to rest.
Troopers have determined the Ayres family left Greenbush, Va, last night on a trip to Baltimore to visit family. The tractor trailer driver is said to have been headed to his residence in Delaware. The trailer was reportedly loaded with 44,000 pounds of polyfiber the driver had picked up yesterday afternoon in Charlotte, NC. CHESTERTOWN, MD) – A Maryland Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force investigation has led to the arrest of a Queen Anne’s County man for the distribution of child pornography.
The accused is identified as Zachary A. Geyer, 24, of the 300-block of Longfellow Drive, Chestertown, Md. He is charged with two counts of distribution of child pornography and two counts of possession of child pornography. Geyer was arrested and is currently being held on $1 million bond in the Queen Anne’s County Detention Center.
