Hot time at Hobo Camp – FREDERICK, MD. — Frederick Police report that on 09-28-2014 at approximately 1840 hours, officers of the Frederick Police Department responded to a reported Destruction of Property in Progress call at the homeless camp off of E. South St. Upon their arrival, officers found a tent fully engulfed in flames and called for additional assistance from the Fire Department
Anne Arundel County Homicide detectives responded to the scene and conducted several interviews with witnesses. During the interviews, it was learned that an altercation took place between the victim and 44-year-old Joseph Eugene Wright of no fixed address. The altercation took place in the 7400 block of Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard in the wooded area. During the altercation, Joseph Wright used a stick to strike the victim.
