Rt. 50 melts down with tour bus crash and burning mulch truck on Chesapeake Bay Bridge. Maryland State Police report that State Troopers on the scene say there were no serious injuries in the crash involving a tour bus on the ramp from Rt. 50 to I-97 and that the roadway should be completely open by about 6:00 p.m. today.
At about 4:30 p.m. today, Maryland State Police from the Glen Burnie Barrack responded to a traffic crash on the ramp from westbound Rt. 50 to northbound I-97. When troopers arrived they found two passenger vehicles and a tour bus involved in the crash

When questioned by local investigators, Dinkle falsely denied his involvement in the incident and said that he had resigned his office and withdrawn from the KKK months before the cross burning. When approached by the FBI, Dinkle again lied and told a special agent that he had been at home with his girlfriend when the cross burning occurred. He further claimed that he did not know a person who was, in fact, one of his superiors in the KKK at the time of the cross burning.

Many of the shootings and murders in Baltimore City result from disputes between rival drug gangs,” said U.S. Attorney Rod J. Rosenstein. “Thanks to a lengthy and intensive investigation, we will hold accountable the criminals who turned Cherry Hill into a war zone.”
According to his plea agreement, from at least 2003 to 2013, Purnell was a member of a group known as “Little Spelman” in the “down the hill” area of Cherry Hill. This group committed robberies, homicides, non-fatal shootings and distributed crack cocaine, heroin, cocaine and marijuana.
