Armed Robbery | Use of a Firearm in Commission of a Felony – Prince William County Police report that on May 15th at 3:41AM, officers responded to the 13700 block of Palm Rd in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a robbery.
The victim, a 54 year old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he works for a local cab company and was called to the above area to pick up a customer.
Once in the area, an unknown man got into the backseat of the vehicle. During the encounter, the man reached over the seat, grabbed the victim, and demanded money.
At that point, a second male suspect approached the vehicle and pulled out a handgun. The men took an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency from the victim before fleeing on foot. No injuries were reported. Detectives from the Robbery Unit were able to identify one of the men involved in the incident.
