Investigators believe Thomas shot and killed DeShannon Reid, 35, on April 4, 2015, on West 27th Street in Wilmington, Delaware. Thomas fled after the murder and has not been seen in the Wilmington area since.

As the loss prevention employee attempted to contact the suspects, one of them struck the employee with a closed fist, causing minor injuries.
The pit bull aggressively charged at the trooper as he came around a fence. Unable to get out of the way and in fear for his safety, the trooper fired one round from his issued duty pistol and struck the dog, killing him. No police or civilians were struck by the gunfire.
Dawkins was charged by Prince George’s County Officer Johnson on attempted first degree murder charges in Prince George’s County on July 8, 2015 and the charges were dropped by Prince George’s States Attorney Angela Alsobrooks on July 31, 2015, which may mean that an indictment is working its way thorough the Grand Jury process or perhaps that Dawkins rolled over on one of his alleged criminal buddies.
