Thieves attack store employee trying to stop shoplifters at Macy’s
Kicks off Christmas Robbing, Stealing and Theft Season!
DOVER, DEL. — The Dover Police Department is investigating a robbery that occurred at Macy’s on Saturday afternoon. At approximately 4:07 PM, two suspects attempted to flee the Macy’s store with stolen merchandise.
As the loss prevention employee attempted to contact the suspects, one of them struck the employee with a closed fist, causing minor injuries.
The suspects then fled the store with the merchandise. One suspect, who struck the employee, is pictured below. The second suspect was a black male, approximately 5’10″/200 lbs., and a black and white jacket.
