<p> ;<strong>Calvert Sheriff Mike Evans</strong> reports that on August 21, 2021, members of the <strong>Calvert County Sheriff’s Department</strong> were dispatched to 3808 Bedford Drive in North Beach, Md for report of a disturbance. Deputies arrived on scene and observed a male identified as<strong> James Eugene Stratchko,</strong> 34, (DOB 09/18/1986), of North Beach, Md., allegedly being loud and boisterous while shouting profanities.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading has-vivid-red-color has-text-color"> Stratchko was advised several times to stop using the profane language </h2>



<p>Stratchko was advised several times to stop using the profane language while causing a disturbance which drew the attention of neighbors in the townhome community. Stratchko refused to comply with orders given to him by law enforcement and continued to conduct himself in that manor.</p>

<p>Police say that Stratchko was placed under arrest and transported to the Calvert County Jail, where no such bad language is tolerated, where he was charged with Disorderly Conduct and Failure to Obey a Reasonable/Lawful Order of Law Enforcement Officer.</p>



<p>Due to his trash mouth possibly offending the residents of the Jail, Stratchko was promptly kicked out.</p>

<p>The hapless taxpayers of Maryland will be dismayed to learn that their hard-earned money will be used to pay for a lawyer for Stratchko when he appears in Calvert District Court.</p>



<p><strong>Anne Arundel County Police Officer Wallace</strong> arrested Stratchko as he operated a Dodge Ram on Defense Street at Holly Avenue in Annapolis on July 13, 2021, at 10:30 am and found cause to charge him with <strong><em>driving while impaired by drugs</em></strong> and a slew of other traffic charges. ; Stratchko posted bond and was released from the Anne Arundel Jail with a court date set for October 13, 2021, in Annapolis District Court.</p>

<p>On December 13, 2018, at 12:13 pm, <strong>Maryland State Trooper Strong</strong> stopped a vehicle on Rt. 4 south of Ponds Woods Rd. in Huntingtown for traffic violations. Because of several criminal indicators a K-9 scan was requested. After a positive alert from CCSO K-9 Dexter, a search of the vehicle was conducted. Suspected Heroin residue and suspected Oxycodone were found. James E. Stratchko, 32, of Upper Marlboro was advised of the recovered CDS. Stratchko was issued appropriate traffic charges and was released.</p>



<p>Stratchko entered a guilty plea in Calvert District Court to possession of drugs other than marijuana on December 22, 2017 and was sentenced to a year in jail with all but 15 days suspended.</p>



<p>Drug charges placed against Stratchko on October 17, 2016, by Calvert Sheriff’s Department Deputy D. Fox were put on the Stet Docket by Calvert States Attorney Laura Martin on May 25, 2017.</p>

<p>Stratchko entered a guilty plea to<strong> Driving While Impaired by Drugs </strong>on January 30, 2014, in Calvert District Court with attorney Ted LeBlanc as his lawyer in a plea deal with <strong>Calvert States Attorney Laura Martin. ;</strong> THE DEAL: no fine, no time and a verdict of Probation Before Judgement.  ;<strong>Calvert Sheriff’s Deputy John McCarroll</strong> charged Stratchko when he was stopped at the Wawa on Rt. 5 in Dunkirk, Md., on September 13, 2013.</p>
