 SALISBURY, MD. – The Maryland State police reported on March 17, 2018, that they are investigating a homicide in Salisbury, Md.

Police said that the victim is Pierre Louis, 67, of Salisbury. EMS personnel pronounced Louis deceased at the scene. His body was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for an autopsy.

Shortly before 11:00 a.m., the Maryland State Police Homicide Unit was contacted by the Salisbury City Police Department and requested to investigate the apparent murder of Pierre Louis.  Louis was found unresponsive inside a residence in the 500 block of Priscilla Street in Salisbury.

Investigators from the Homicide Unit arrived to take the lead in the investigation. Upon their arrival, Louis was found deceased inside the residence with obvious signs of trauma. His cause and manner of death are pending autopsy results.

PIZZA DRIVER ROBBED OF PIE AT GUNPOINT BY BLACK BANDIT

SALISBURY, MD. – Salisbury Police are still looking for the masked gunman, dressed all in black, who robbed a working man of his delivery pizza pie after placing a phony and phoned-in order.

Police say that on March 1, 2018, Salisbury police officers and detectives began looking for the black male suspect wanted for the robbery of a pizza delivery driver.

 Salisbury Police Officers responded to the 100 block of Union Avenue in response to the call for help.

Police say that the driver was delivering an order placed with the Pizza Hut located at 1217 Mt. Herman Road, Salisbury.

The 58-year-old male victim arrived within the 100 block of Union Avenue, exited his vehicle and made contact with the suspect who displayed a black handgun, pointed it at the victim and demanded the food and cash from the victim. The victim was able to re-enter his vehicle and contact the police. The victim was not injured during this confrontation.

Suspect: Black male, approximately 18-22, 5-06, 150 pounds, thin build, dark skin, wearing a black jacket with a hood, black hat, and a black face mask.
