Maryland State Police Beat / Hooker Patrol:  Five charged with Soliciting Prostitutes includes Crisfield Politician Paul Emely

CRISFIELD, MD.  – The hills and hollows of Wicomico County, along with alleys and doorways of side streets favored by the illegal hookup class, are a bit emptier of commerce due to a recent roundup by the Hooker Patrol of the Maryland State Police. Further ruining the stellar reputations of the alleged whores, pimps, and johns of Maryland was the inclusion of Crisfield City Councilman Paul Emely.

No greater strain on the public morals and treasuries have been seen across the land than those of the political class, who ironically always pass laws outlawing the former.

While the bust of those accused of hiring hookers in a Delmar motel didn’t take place in Crisfield, it can only be assumed that City Councilman Emely was out of town on a business trip and will soon ask for reimbursement of travel, motel, and personal services from the taxpayers of Crisfield, as most elected officials are wont to do. Emely might also have a note in his request for bail money.

Paul Erik Emely, Town Council Member of Crisfield Md. charged with hiring a hooker by MSP Dec. 19 2017.

Police report that complaints from citizens and business owners in Wicomico County led to a Maryland State Police investigation on Dec. 19, 2017, that resulted in multiple arrests for prostitution solicitation.

According to charging documents, shortly before 2 p.m. Tuesday, Emely was in a room at the Holiday Inn Express where he offered an undercover female state trooper $100 for sexual intercourse.  Emely won’t likely have to pay for advertising when he is up for reelection in 2018 as his name is now well-known far and wide.

Troopers assigned to the Salisbury Barrack planned, coordinated and conducted a prostitution/solicitation sting in the Wicomico County area.  Assisting with the operation were State Police criminal investigators from the Criminal Enforcement Division.

As a result of the operation, the following 5 individuals were arrested:

Paul Erik Emely, 45, of Crisfield MD

Wendell Travers, 74, Cambridge MD

William Edgar Jackson Jr, 71, of Cambridge MD

Horace Linwood Wilson Jr, 52, of Georgetown DE

Erica Shante Reviere, 32, of Fayetteville NC

Each person arrested was charged with solicitation for prostitution.  Each has been taken to the Wicomico County Central Booking Center for processing and an initial appearance before a court commissioner.

  • According to charging documents, shortly before 2 p.m. Tuesday, Emely was in a room at the Holiday Inn Express where he offered an undercover female state trooper $100 for sexual intercourse.
