MURDER USA Gang member Roland Juarez-Vasquez charged in homicide of William Canales in beef over babe
LANGLEY PARK, MD. One excuse to whack someone in PG County apparently is as good as another as the suburban Washington, D.C. County attempts to keep up with their Killing Cousins in Baltimore. This time, police say the motive was jealousy over a woman and the alleged killer is a member of a gang.
PG Police report that their Homicide Unit detectives arrested a suspect for a homicide in Adelphi one week ago. The suspect is 22-year-old Rolando Juarez-Vasquez of 1317 Merrimac Drive in Langley Park. He’s charged with the fatal shooting of 19-year-old William Canales of Fox Street.
PG Police: The suspect is a member of a gang.
On June 1st, at about 6:40 pm, patrol officers were called to the 1800 block of Fox Street for the report of a shooting. When they arrived, they found the victim outside suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a hospital where he later died.
The preliminary investigation reveals the suspect and victim got into a dispute over a woman prior to the shooting. The suspect is a member of a gang. The victim was not a gang member.
Juarez-Vasquez has his first appearance in court on June 30, 2017, in Upper Marlboro. He is charged with second-degree murder, having a gun in a vehicle, on his person and reckless endangerment. As of June 8, 2017, he was still held in jail.
