HANOVER, MD. Anne Arundel Police reports that they got their elf-sized man wanted for sticking up a bank in Hanover as when he jumped in his getaway car after boosting the bank, he went straight to the Maryland Live Casino to blow all his ill-gotten gains.

Police say that on Saturday, November 19, 2016, at approximately 9:36 am officers responded to the Wells Fargo Bank located at 7568 Ridge Road in Hanover for a robbery.  Responding officers were advised that a male suspect entered the bank, approached a teller, implied he had a weapon, and handed them a note announcing a robbery. The suspect was given an undisclosed amount of US currency and then he fled the scene.

Police say that the suspect was seen leaving the area in a black Chevrolet with Virginia tags.

Several officers responded and began canvassing the area. An officer located a vehicle matching the description parked in the parking garage of the Maryland Live! casino. The suspect was located and positively identified as John Edward Bush Jr., of 11806 Broadmoor Lane, Upper Marlboro, Md. Bush was also identified as the subject from the bank robbery. He was taken into custody without incident and charged with Armed Robbery; Robbery; and Theft between $1000-$10,000.

With Wells Fargo Bank robbing from its customers across America, it’s hard to understand why anyone would still want to do any banking with those thieves, but evidently, fellow thieves like to bank with them, as it’s all a matter of crime between criminals.
