TFC Krenik made contact with Sgt&period; M&period; Newman&comma; who was already on the scene&period;  The troopers observed Michael Avery Presnell&comma; 19&comma; of Lexington Park&comma; inside the residence and ordered him to exit the residence&period;   Presnell complied and stated that he had found a key hidden outside of the residence&period;  Presnell was placed under arrest for Burglary in the Fourth Degree&comma; and a search incident to arrest revealed suspected marijuana&period; 12pt&semi;">The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police reports that on Thursday&comma; September 29&comma; 2016&comma; TFC W&period; Scarlett responded to the 37000 block of Asher Road for a reported burglary&period;  The victim advised that the glass was broken out of his residence&period;  The victim witnessed the suspect leave the scene&comma; and gave a detailed description of the suspect and vehicle&period;  The suspect&comma; Brian Yancey Sampson&comma; 36&comma; of 29777 Vincent Circle&comma; Mechanicsville&comma; Md&period;&comma; was located on Mechanicsville Road near Old Village Road&comma; and items from the burglary were observed in plain sight in Sampson’s vehicle&period;  Sampson was placed under arrest&comma; and a search incident to arrest revealed numerous stolen items as well as suspected heroin&period;   Sampson was transported to the St&period; Mary’s County Detention Center and charged with First Degree Burglary&comma; Malicious Destruction of Property&comma; CDS Possess Not Marijuana&comma; and CDS Possess Paraphernalia&period;<&sol;span><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><span style&equals;"font-size&colon; 12pt&semi;">In 2013&comma; Sampson had three charges of burglary placed against him in an indictment thrown out by St&period; Mary’s States Attorney Richard Fritz in a plea deal&period; The deal with Fritz on Oct&period; 18&comma; 2013&comma; called for Sampson to enter a guilty plea to theft under &dollar;10&comma;000 and was sentenced to seven years in prison with four years suspended&comma; allowing him to resume his career in crime upon his release&period;<&sol;span><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><span style&equals;"font-size&colon; 12pt&semi;">On April 2&comma; 2014&comma; Sampson was again furthering his criminal career by entering a guilty plea in another deal with Charles County States Attorney Anthony Covington when he was sent to jail for theft&period; Sampson was given 548 days in jail with 380 days suspended and credit given for time served of 168 days&period;<&sol;span><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><span style&equals;"font-size&colon; 12pt&semi;">A plea deal cooked up by Charles County States Attorney Anthony Covington on July 18&comma; 2012&comma; provided for a sentence of ninety days in jail with all of the jail time suspended when Sampson entered a guilty plea to theft&period; A judgement in favor of Golden Renaissance was awarded for restitution in the crime&period;  Charles County Sheriff’s Officer Jennifer S&period; McKensie was the arresting officer&period; The case was presided over by Judge Robert Nalley&period; On Nov&period; 7&comma; 2014&comma; Sampson had violated his probation and was back in court&period;<&sol;span><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><span style&equals;"font-size&colon; 12pt&semi;">Sampson entered a guilty plea to a charge of burglary on July 13&comma; 2012&comma; and in a plea deal with St&period; Mary’s States Attorney Richard Fritz was given two years&comma; eight months and one day in jail and five years of probation&period;<&sol;span><&sol;p>&NewLine;<h2>Undocumented Shoppers Found Cash&comma; who advised he had observed Elizabeth Mae Martinez&comma; 22&comma; of Lexington Park&comma; steal numerous items from the store&period;  Martinez was placed under arrest&comma; charged on a Criminal Citation for Theft Under &dollar;1&comma;000&comma;
