Delaware State Police Beat: White Guy in a Hoodie Held Up Dunkin Donuts

Robbery graphicWILMINGTON, DEL. – A white guy in a hoodie is being sought for the armed holdup of a Dunkin Donuts in Wilmington, reports Delaware State Police Spokesman Master Corporal Jeffrey R. Hale.

The initial investigation has determined that the incident occurred on Monday, August 2, 2016, at approximately 11:18 p.m., as a male suspect entered the Dunkin Donuts located at 4902 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington.

There is no further physical or clothing description available. No video surveillance photos are available at this time.

Police reports the suspect, who was armed with an unknown make and model handgun, confronted a male employee of the business and demanded money from the cash register. The employee complied with the suspect’s demands and turned over an undisclosed amount of money to him. The suspect then exited the business and fled in an unknown direction. The employee was not injured.

The suspect was described as a white male. He was 5’07”-5’10” tall, weighed 150-180 lbs., and was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, light colored jeans, black sneakers, and had a bandana covering his face. There is no further physical or clothing description available. No video surveillance photos are available at this time.
