NORFOLK, VA.  – Shortly after 10:00 A.M. this morning, 9-1-1 dispatchers received a commercial robbery alarm from the PNC Bank located at 870 N. Military Highway.

Upon arrival, police confirmed with bank employees that a man just robbed the bank. The preliminary investigation revealed that the man entered the bank, displayed a handgun, and demanded money. The man fled the scene prior to police arrival.

The suspect is described as a dark skin black man, 5”5 to 5”7, medium build, wearing a solid colored chin-strap hat, long sleeve tan shirt, and dark pants. The suspect is also described as having a “chin strap” style beard.
