Prince William County Police BeatBurglar removed basement window to gain entry

WOODBRIDGE, VA.  – On April 21st at 1:35PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 14200 block of Mapledale Ave in Woodbridge to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 6:00AM and 12:30PM. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the home through a basement level window after the glass was removed. Jewelry was reported missing.

Burglar came in the back window

WOODBRIDGE, VA. – On April 21st at 10:22AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 14100 block of Morrison Ct in Woodbridge  to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 8:10AM and 10:10AM. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the home through a rear window which was found shattered. Jewelry, money and CD player were reported missing.

Burglar couldn’t get past the front door

HAYMARKET, VA. – On April 21st at 4:39PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 16000 block of Pitner St in Haymarket to investigate an attempted burglary. The homeowner reported to police that sometime between 4:00AM and 9:00PM on April 19th, entry was attempted into the residence through the front door which was found damaged. No entry was made into the home and no property was reported missing.

DUMFRIES, VA. – Prince William County Police report that on April 20th at 2:00PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 3300 block of Cape May Ct in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a burglary in progress. A resident of the home reported to police that he was inside his residence when he heard the sound of glass breaking. When the caller went around to the rear of the home, he observed an unknown man walking away from the backyard. Upon checking the home, a rear sliding glass door was found shattered. No entry was made into the home and no property was reported missing. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspect.

Suspect Description:

Black male, between 18 & 20 years of age, 6’0”, 170lbs with a medium build and beard

Last seen wearing a white t-shirt, dark colored jeans and a Chicago Bulls hat

  • A resident of the home reported to police that he was inside his residence when he heard the sound of glass breaking.
