Bijan likes that 24-hour store for convenient shoplifting of Big Screen TV’s from Walmart!
FREDERICKSBURG, VA. — Police report that Bijan Bello ran from Fredericksburg Police Officer and spilled his stolen TV’s when he lost control on a curve.
Charged with the drugs that spilled out as well as DUI. DUID/LARCENY/NARCOTICS: 3300 block Plank Rd, 4/15 4:10 a.m. Fredericksburg Police report that an officer patrolling in the area of the Target store observed a grey Volkswagen traveling through the parking lot at a high rate of speed and with large boxes sticking out of the trunk.
As the officer attempted to stop the vehicle on Trade Street, the Volkswagen increased speed and went through the red light at Central Park Boulevard, turning left as it headed toward Route 3.
When the Volkswagen entered the curve in the road just prior to Regal Cinemas, the driver lost control. The car left the road and crashed through a metal fence into the grassy area, as the boxes that were in the trunk fell out onto the pavement.
The driver was detained without further incident. He was evaluated on the scene by EMS personnel and transported to Mary Washington Hospital, but he was uninjured.
The boxes contained televisions which were determined to have been stolen from Walmart just a few minutes before the encounter. A search of the vehicle incident to the subject’s arrest led to the further discovery of drug paraphernalia in plain view inside the car.
Bijan Bello, 23, of Woodbridge was arrested on charges of DUID, possession of schedule I,II narcotics, grand larceny, eluding, destruction of property, and numerous traffic offenses. Bello was incarcerated at the Rappahannock Regional Jail under no bond.
DUI ARRESTS:
Lindsay Johnson, 29, of Spotsylvania was arrested on charges of DUI and felony hit and run in the 1500 block of Plank Road.
Derek Breau, 29, of Spotsylvania was arrested on charges of DUID and reckless driving in the 2300 block of Plank Road.
Rebecca Day, 23, of Spotsylvania was arrested on a charge of DUI in the 2300 block of Jefferson Davis Highway.
Timothy Brennan, 35, of Spotsylvania was arrested on a charge of DUI in the 1900 block of Plank Road.
Perry Stephenson, 20, of Fredericksburg was arrested on a charge of DUI following a single vehicle motor vehicle crash in the 2000 block of Plank Road. –
