FREDERICKSBURG POLICE BEAT INCIDENTS
MONDAY, AUGUST 11, 2014
Security Camera Revealed Bozo Ripped Toilet Loose, Flooded Laundromat
Hillcrest Coin Laundry, 2012 Lafayette Blvd, 8/8 2:00 a.m. A customer reported that he arrived at the business around 6:50 a.m. and found the building flooded. A check of the security camera showed a male subject entering the building around 2 a.m. through an unsecured door and moving out of camera range into the bathroom, where it was later discovered that the toilet had been forcibly removed from the floor. The suspect was a white male in his 30s with medium length blond hair and a dark colored ball cap. The investigation is ongoing.
BREAKING AND ENTERING:
400 block Rann Ct, 8/10 4:45 a.m. Police responded to a fire at a vacant residence and found evidence that an unknown person had forced open the front door and set a small fire inside a room. The investigation is ongoing.
INDECENT EXPOSURE:
600 block Stuart St, 8/9 10:00 p.m. A resident reported that an unknown male subject exposed himself to her while she walking home. The suspect was described as a male in his 20s of unknown race and approximately 5’9” in height. He was wearing a dark colored shirt and khaki shorts. The investigation is ongoing.
LARCENY:
2500 block Carriage Ln, 8/2 – 8/9 8:00 p.m. A resident reported that an unknown person stole the registration stickers from his license plates. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
Antique Court of Shops, 1001 Caroline St, 8/2 – 8/10 12:30 p.m. A vendor reported that an unknown person stole an antique level from his booth. The investigation is ongoing.
400 block Bridgewater St, 8/9 9:30 p.m. – 8/10 12:00 p.m. A resident reported that an unknown person stole the GPS from his unsecured car. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
VANDALISM:
Disability Resource Center, 1501 Princess Anne St, 8/8 9:30 p.m. A passerby reported that an unknown person spray painted graffiti on the front of the building. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
DUI ARRESTS:
Lenin Prada, 28, of Spotsylvania was arrested for DUI and possession of marijuana in the 200
block of Kings Highway.
Doneal Taylor, 26, of Fredericksburg was arrested for DUI and driving while revoked in the 3300 block of Fall Hill Avenue.
Brandon Keirn, 21, of Stafford was arrested for DUI in the 2200 block of Caroline Street.
ARRESTS:
Paul White, 27, of Fredericksburg was arrested for possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia, and providing false identification to law enforcement to avoid arrest.
Terry Dalton, 43, of Fredericksburg was arrested on a warrant from Prince William County charging him with assault and battery.
Brian Dunn, 54, of no fixed address was arrested for public intoxication and shoplifting from CVS.
Michael Dunn, 52, of no fixed address was arrested for public intoxication, obstruction of justice, and shoplifting from CVS.
Todd Wynne, 27, of Stafford was arrested for possession of marijuana. Jesse Keys, 37, of Fredericksburg was arrested for public intoxication.
Efrain Nava, 36, of no fixed address was arrested for public intoxication and assault on law enforcement.
Robert Chapman, 30, of Fredericksburg was arrested for domestic assault and battery.
Richard Humphrey, 33, of Fredericksburg was arrested for probation violation, drinking while driving, identity theft, and providing false identification to law enforcement to avoid arrest.
Robert Hissen, 29, of Fredericksburg was arrested on a warrant from Caroline County charging
him with felony fraud.
FREDERICKSBURG POLICE INCIDENTS
FRIDAY, AUGUST 8, 2014
PURSE SNATCHING:
Dirtbag had the stuffings kicked out of him by group of women who were determined not to be victims!
800 block Sophia St, 8/7 11:40 p.m. Four females, ages 29-38 and all from Locust Grove, were walking back to their cars in the parking lot after spending time together at a downtown restaurant. The four had split up into pairs as they returned to their vehicles when one of the women noticed a man running in the direction of her and her friend. When the man got close, he grabbed the woman’s purse and pushed her to the ground with enough force that she hit her head on the pavement. The woman and her friend began screaming, and the suspect also grabbed the second woman’s purse and took off.
When the second pair of females heard the other women yelling and saw their friend on the ground and a man running away, they started chasing after the suspect. The two women caught up with the suspect and knocked him to the ground, punching and kicking him as they tried to hold him down. The suspect was able to free himself and got up and ran away, but the women chased him down a second time. One of the women was punched in the face twice during the ensuing struggle. The suspect dropped one of the purses he had stolen and one of the women wrestled the second purse away from him before the offender once again fled.
When officers arrived on the scene, an ambulance was called to check on the first victim, but she did not require transport to the hospital. Officers also summoned assistance from the Spotsylvania County Sheriff’s Office. Officers searched the area and two K-9 teams from Spotsylvania County attempted to track the suspect, but he was not located.
The suspect is described as a white male in his early to mid 20s, 5’7” – 5’10” and approximately 180 pounds, and with straight hair that almost reached his shoulders. He was wearing a black tank top, khaki shorts, and a black ball cap turned backwards. The investigation is ongoing.
LARCENY:
Walmart, 1800 Carl D Silver Pkwy, 8/7 8:00 a.m. A loss prevention employee reported that an unknown person stole a large number of used batteries from an outside secured locker. The investigation is ongoing.
VANDALISM:
Virginia War Memorial, 500 George St, 7/1 – 8/1 9:00 p.m. A board member of the Fredericksburg Memorial Area Council reported that an unknown person threw a large glass candle into one of the walls containing engraved names, causing approximately $5000 in
damage. The investigation is ongoing.
ARRESTS:
Joshua Garrett, 26, of Montross was arrested for possession of marijuana.
Myleka Murphy, 24, of Spotsylvania was arrested for public intoxication, resisting arrest, indecent exposure, and assault on law enforcement.
Joseph Watson, 42, of Stafford was arrested for public intoxication.
Quentin Bryant, 20, of Spotsylvania was arrested for possession of marijuana.

ASSAULT:
Kenmore Park, 1301 Kenmore Ave, 8/4 10:20 p.m. An 18-year-old Spotsylvania resident reported that he was assaulted by an unknown number of subjects in the playground area. The victim was unable to provide a description of his assailants. The investigation is ongoing.
BURGLARY:
Value Place Hotel, 1455 Carl D Silver Pkwy, 8/4 – 8/5 7:30 a.m. A construction site manager reported that an unknown person stole several spools of wire from a room inside the building. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
ARRESTS:
Ruby Washington, 55, of Fredericksburg was arrested for violation of the noise ordinance.
Anthony Turner, 49, of Fredericksburg was arrested for violation of the noise ordinance.

Best Buy, 1541 Carl D Silver Pkwy, 8/2 10:30 a.m. A Spotsylvania resident reported that an unknown person stole a bank bag containing cash from his unlocked vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
400 block Riverside Dr, 8/3 4:30 p.m. Two juveniles reported that an unknown person stole their clothing and cell phones that had been left unattended while the victims were swimming. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
VANDALISM:
800 block Moncure St, 8/2 – 8/3 8:00 a.m. A city employee reported that an unknown person scratched and damaged his personal vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
John Shockey, 45, of Ruther Glen was arrested for DUI in the 1300 block of Central Park Boulevard.
Jennifer Stinson, 41, of Spotsylvania was arrested for DUI in the 1300 block of Central Park Boulevard.
Darrick Taylor, 39, of Spotsylvania was arrested for DUI in the 3400 block of Plank Road.
Donald Brayton, 21, of Spotsylvania was arrested for DUI in the 1300 block of Rowe Street.
Jason Smith, 33, of Locust Grove was arrested for DUI in the 900 block of Kenmore Avenue.
Amanda Cole, 22, of Spotsylvania was arrested for DUI in the 400 block of Jefferson Davis Highway.

Anastasia Snowden, 35, of Gretna, Louisiana was arrested for parental abduction and misdemeanor assault.
Amanda Buchanan, 23, of Partlow was arrested for shoplifting from Walmart.
Jordan Hartzell, 20, of Spotsylvania was arrested for assault and battery, public intoxication, and
underage possession of alcohol.
Christopher Burton, 38, of no fixed address was arrested for public intoxication.
Jesus Diaz Argueta, 29, of Fredericksburg was arrested for public intoxication. Jorge Amaya Argueta, 34, of Fredericksburg was arrested for public intoxication.
Freddie Brooks, 35, of King George was arrested for domestic assault and battery, public intoxication, and assault on law enforcement.
Erica Brooks, 37, of King George was arrested on warrants from Spotsylvania charging her with writing bad checks.
Michael Haley, 27, of Fredericksburg was arrested for destruction of property. Roberto Carlos Flores, 23, of Fredericksburg was arrested for public intoxication.
Rachel Soto, 29, of Woodbridge was arrested for providing false information to law enforcement to avoid arrest.
William Paschall, 61, of no fixed address was arrested for public intoxication.
Jonathan Johnson, 26, of Woodbridge was arrested for public intoxication and resisting arrest.
Jinesiah Rickenbaker, 20, of Spotsylvania was arrested on multiple counts of credit card larceny, credit card fraud, and conspiracy.
Sharome Neals, 21, of Carteret, New Jersey was arrested on multiple counts of credit card larceny, credit card fraud, and conspiracy.
Carrie Lee, 19, of Jersey City, New Jersey was arrested on multiple counts of credit card larceny, credit card fraud, and conspiracy.
Juvenile female, 17, was arrested for credit card larceny, credit card fraud, and providing false
information to law enforcement to avoid arrest.

Heathen caught in act of stealing from First Christian Church
First Christian Church, 1501 Washington Ave, 7/30 4:00 p.m. A parishioner reported that she witnessed an unknown man stealing envelopes containing checks from the mailbox outside the church. An officer patrolling on Princess Anne Street later located a man matching the description of the suspect and detained him. The suspect led the officer to where he had stashed the stolen checks. Deshon Shelton, 27, of no fixed address was arrested for three counts of felony larceny and two counts of misdemeanor larceny. Shelton was incarcerated at the Rappahannock Regional Jail under no bond.
600 block Greenbrier Ct, 7/25 12:00 p.m. – 1:15 p.m. A resident reported that an unknown person stole his television and damaged a second one. Both TVs had been stored in an unsecured U-Haul truck in the parking lot. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
VANDALISM:
900 block Charles St, 7/28 – 7/30 11:00 a.m. The property owner reported that an unknown person spray painted graffiti on the rear of the building. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
1800 block Caroline St, 6/29 – 7/29 5:00 p.m. A property owner reported that an unknown person cut the locks securing site. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
ARRESTS:
Luis Garcia, 33, of Fredericksburg was arrested for public intoxication.
FREDERICKSBURG POLICE INCIDENTS
WEDNESDAY, JULY 30, 2014
ROBBERY:
1100 Townsend Blvd, 7/30 1:45 a.m. The resident of an apartment, a 33-year-old male, reported that he answered a knock at his door and someone asking for his roommate by name. When he opened the door, three male subjects pushed their way inside and ordered him to the floor at gunpoint. They also forced his roommate, a 48-year-old male, out of the bedroom where he had been sleeping and then stole a quantity of cash that was inside the apartment. Two additional occupants of the apartment, 19-year-old female and a 22-year-old male, also witnessed the incident. The offenders were described as black males in their 20s, approximately 6’ and 175 pounds. One of the offenders had a mustache and was wearing a red baseball cap and a blue or black windbreaker. The offenders fled from the scene prior to police arrival. The investigation is ongoing.
BURGLARY:
Nader’s Grocery, 508 Caroline St, 7/29 3:30 a.m. The owner reported that an unknown person broke the glass in the front door, entered the business and stole merchandise. Surveillance video showed the suspect as a white male 18-21 years of age, approximately 5’9” and 140 pounds. He was wearing a white or light gray hooded sweatshirt with a zipper and dark colored pants. The investigation is ongoing.
VEHICLE TAMPERING:
Parking Garage, 600 Sophia St, 7/28 5:50 a.m. – 5:50 p.m. A patron reported that an unknown person entered her locked vehicle and pulled down the lower dashboard covers inside the car. Surveillance video showed a male subject using a tool to gain access to the vehicle. The investigation is ongoing.
LARCENY:
Walmart, 1800 Carl D Silver Pkwy, 7/29 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. A shopper reported that an unknown person stole her wallet from her cart inside the store. The victim’s credit cards were later used to make purchases at area stores. The investigation is ongoing.
VANDALISM:
Boys and Girls Club, 200 Gunnery Rd, 7/25 – 7/29 8:00 a.m. The director reported that an unknown person broke out the rear window of the club’s transport bus. No suspects or witnesses
at this time.
200 block Morningside Dr, 7/28 – 7/29 9:15 a.m. A resident reported that an unknown person
broke out the driver’s door window on her vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
Funland, 1351 Central Park Blvd, 7/29 12:30 p.m. An employee reported that an unknown person broke out a window on his vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
La Petite Auberge, 311 William St, 7/27 – 7/28 1:00 p.m. The owner reported that an unknown person spray painted graffiti on the transformer box at the rear of the business. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

Laqueta Webb, 21, of Fredericksburg was arrested on a warrant from King George charging her with assault and battery.
Ladonna Mason, 40, of Fredericksburg was arrested for shoplifting from CVS. Catherine Burt, 54, of Colonial Beach was arrested for trespassing.
Deangelo White, 24, of Fredericksburg was arrested on warrants from King George charging
him with possession of a forged bank note and possession of marijuana.
