Gambrills, Md. — Anne Arundel Police report that two opportunistic dirtbags were on the way to stealing a vehicle from a car lot on Rt. 3 after crashing through a door.

On March 23, 2015, at approximately 11:40 p.m., officers from the Western District responded to the KB Auto Emporium located in the 600 block of Route 3 in Gambrills for an alarm call.

Officers learned that the business had been burglarized. Additional investigation shows two male suspects captured on surveillance video breaking glass on the front door and subsequently entering the business.

Both suspects go through drawers inside in an attempt to steal keys to vehicles on the lot. The suspects then fled the business without obtaining any property. Anyone with information on the suspects is asked to contact detective Dutton of the Western District at 410-222-6155.

 

Suspect #1: Black male with a beard, wearing all black, a black knit hat and carrying a backpack

Suspect #2: Black male with a goatee, wearing a blue camouflage baseball hat, a black jacket, blue jeans, and white tennis shoes

 

  • Both suspects go through drawers inside in an attempt to steal keys to vehicles on the lot. The suspects then fled the business without obtaining any property. Anyone with information on the suspects is asked to contact detective Dutton of the Western District at 410-222-6155.
