Officer Love’s tenacity and good old fashion police work lead to the arrest of one suspect and possibly two more that had started a pattern of burglaries in the Crofton Community. Also, property was recovered from several other burglaries. If it were not for his actions there is no telling how many more burglaries would have been committed before an arrest would have been affected and the spree put to a halt. Officer Love is truly deserving of the Officer of the Month for Western District for the month of March 2015.
Both suspects go through drawers inside in an attempt to steal keys to vehicles on the lot. The suspects then fled the business without obtaining any property. Anyone with information on the suspects is asked to contact detective Dutton of the Western District at 410-222-6155.
The complainant provided a description of three subjects and their vehicle. The vehicle, a Mercury Grand Marquis, was observed pulling into the Shell Gas Station in the 2500 block of Riva Road. Officers made contact with the occupants, at which time they observed individually packaged baggies of heroin on the front passenger floor board. A total of 38 baggies containing 30.6 grams of heroin valued at $3,674 along with $2,987 in U.S. currency. All three occupants were taken into custody and charged with Possession of CDS and Possession with Intent to Distribute. Carroll and Cornish were also served with open warrants
