Armed Robber Dirtbag made Quick Stop Rob & Assault

Rat on the armed robber and win cash!

GREAT MILLS, Maryland – An armed robber walked into the Quick Shop gas station and convenience store (former Wawa ) on Great Mills Road on March 9, 2015, at 9:06 PM, and robbed the clerk at gunpoint, report police. In addition, the dirtbag struck the clerk with his gun before leaving.

St. Mary’s Sheriff’s Department patrol units responded to the Quick Shop located on Great Mills Road, for the report of an armed robbery.  Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division were contacted and subsequently responded to the scene and assumed the investigation.

Detectives determined from interviewing witnesses and observing video of the illegal transaction that a black male entered the business armed with a handgun, approached the clerk, and demanded money.   The clerk complied, and the suspect fled the business with an undisclosed amount of money and cigarettes. The suspect struck the clerk with the handgun on his way out of the business.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5-10 in height, wearing all dark clothing and a dark colored mask. The suspect is pictured below.

Police also released a second photo of a “person of interest” who entered the store just a few minutes before the robbery, likely to case the joint in preparation for the armed robbery to be executed.
