Three Nabbed by Cops in Burglary
LINTHICUM, MD. — Police report that on December 16, 2014, at approximately 2:30 a.m., a Northern District officer was checking the area in the 6200 block of Chestnut Oak Lane when he located a red Toyota Corolla occupied by one male. He approached and began to speak with the individual and noted that the occupant’s reasoning for being there did not make sense. As a result, the officer directed the backup officer who arrived in the area to check a nearby residence. The officer approached and observed two suspects in the residence, noting that a window had also been broken out. Both suspects were initially able to avoid apprehension as they fled through the back of the residence.
Officers and K-9 set up a large perimeter and began searching for the two suspects. During the search, an officer was able to locate the second suspect, who was carrying a bag in the area of Twin Oaks and Hammonds Ferry Road. He was arrested and stolen property was located in the bag. Officers were able to identify the third suspect and he was taken into custody in Baltimore County without incident. Torres was charged with First, Third and Fourth Degree Burglary along with malicious Destruction of Property. The two juveniles were charged with burglary on juvenile citations.

Gas Station Robbed by Rubber Glove Bandit
GLEN BURNIE, MD. – On December 15, 2014, at approximately 11:00 a.m., officers from the Eastern District responded to the Shell Gas Station located in the 300 block of Hospital Drive for a robbery of the business.
Upon arrival, officers learned that a male suspect entered the business and demanded money. The suspect forced the cashier to open the register, grabbed an undisclosed amount of money and fled the store. The suspect was last seen running towards a local apartment complex in the rear of the business. Numerous officers and K-9 searched the area, but were unable to locate the suspect. The suspect never displayed a weapon during the incident, but he kept his hand in his waist area, implying a weapon existed.
Suspect: Black male, approximately 6’2” with an average build, wearing camouflage pants, a black hooded sweatshirt, a blue and tan jacket, a black hat, a black ski mask and latex gloves.
