
DOVER, DEL. (Sept. 21, 2014) — The Dover Police Department responded to a total of 16 shoplifting complaints between Noon on Thursday, September 11th and Noon on Thursday, September September 18th. This week saw an increase of 2 complaints compared to the same time period as
last week’s post.
Of the 16 shoplifting complaints, 9 resulted in arrests of the suspects involved, with 9 adults and 1 juvenile being arrested. One case was unfounded after investigation revealed no crime occurred, and 6 of them are still under investigation without identified suspects at this time. There were a total of 9 adult arrests and 1 juvenile arrest during this time period for a total of 10 arrests in 9 cases.
Repeat Appearances
For the third straight week, Kenneth Luke has made the shoplifter notifications. In this instance, he was stealing Nexium pills from the Dover ACME, just as he was at CVS in a prior arrest.
