<p>If this seafood retailer, who has now been caught twice in a week, ends up with serious fines, it would be one of the few as Maryland officials duck, weave, bloviate and give free passes to those charged as is seen in the case of the<a href="https://www.the-chesapeake.com//2014/08/10/pirate-poacher-kings-bay-nothing-fear-feckless-maryland-officials/" target="_blank"><strong> Reihl brothers</strong> </a>in this special report by <strong>THE CHESAPEAKE TODAY</strong> in which multiple citations and arrests for poaching and other violations were tracked to the courts.</p>

<p>HAGERSTOWN, MD. &#8212; According to the Maryland Natural Resources Police, a follow-up visit to a Hagerstown seafood shop <a href="https://www.the-chesapeake.com//2014/08/04/piney-points-golden-eye-bulls-eye-crab-cops-selling-undersize-crabs-hagerstowns-chics-seafood/" target="_blank"><strong>charged earlier in the month</strong> </a>with selling illegal crabs yielded more of the same last Thursday, the Maryland Natural Resources Police reported.</p>
<p>An officer conducting an inspection at Cameron’s Seafood on Dual Highway discovered one bushel with 82 undersized crabs and another with 42 undersized crabs. On Aug. 1, he found one bushel with 110 undersized crabs and another with 59 undersized crabs.<span id="more-7195"></span></p>
<p>For the latest violations, Hussein Kato Katende, 38, of Columbia, was issued two citations and the crabs were delivered to a Hagerstown food bank.</p>

<p>Katende is set to appear in Washington District Court on Oct. 21. If found guilty of both charges, he faces a maximum fine of $4,000.</p>
<p>As part of the “<a href="http://news.maryland.gov/dnr/2014/07/30/nrp-launches-dont-get-pinched-campaign-to-catch-illegal-crabbers/" target="_blank">Don’t Get Pinched</a>” crab enforcement campaign, officers over the weekend checked 55 recreational and commercial vessels and several seafood vendors. They conducted saturation patrols in lower Eastern Shore tributaries and the Patuxent River. A total of five citations and eight warnings were issued.</p>
<p>Cameron Seafood on Dual Highway in Hagerstown has a Facebook page in which they provide a link for readers to their <a href="http://cameronsseafood.com/" target="_blank"><strong>website</strong></a>. The website shows that Cameron&#8217;s Seafood has locations throughout Maryland and Pennsylvania.</p>
