It wouldn’t be the first time, but for one longtime county employee who has knowledge of the suspension of three St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Correctional Officers, the idea that a female inmate must subjugate herself to three male jailors in order to survive indicates that the Sheriff’s Department has once again run amuck in the operation of the jail.

St. Mary’s Sheriff Tim Cameron has a stock answer when asked any questions about his department and his employees. He always states that he cannot answer any questions regarding personnel or litigation.

Woodbridge: Prince William police note arrest of Joseph Cantrell Lee for malicious wounding, strangulation and battery

Aggravated Malicious Wounding | Strangulation [Previously Released] – On June 12th at 9:30PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 1700 block of Pine Shadows Way in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a domestic assault. The victim, a 35 year old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, the accused assaulted the victim and prevented her from leaving the residence. At one point, the accused stuffed toilet paper into the victim’s mouth. The victim was eventually able to leave the home and contact police. The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries. Following the investigation, officers obtained warrants against the accused.

Judge Cougar accused of lying to police by her opponent in election

Circuit Court Judge Audrey Creighton, running for election in Montgomery County’s primary this month, was accused of harboring her live-in boyfriend when he was a fugitive from an arrest warrant issued by another judge in her own court. At the time the warrant was outstanding, she admits living in an intimate relationship with the boyfriend, Rickley Senning, a violent felon less than half her age.

In a June 6, 2014 open letter seeking the withdrawal of the other judicial candidates’ endorsements of Ms. Creighton (attached), Circuit Court Judicial candidate Daniel Patrick Connell further alleges that Ms. Creighton lied to Montgomery County Police and circumvented court rules and procedures to keep Mr. Senning from being taken into custody. ALCOHOL VIOLATION – According to St. Mary’s County Md. Sheriff Tim Cameron, on June 11, 2014, Sergeant Clay Safford assigned to the Hobos & Hookers Patrol (Lexington Park COPs UNIT), observed suspect David Lee Garrison, 57, of no fixed address, on St. Mary’s County government property (bus stop on Tulagi Place) consuming an alcoholic beverage.

Garrison was charged with the alcohol violation by criminal citation and was given a new address at the Hotel St. Mary’s.

Court records reveal that Garrison has a record spanning nearly twenty years of criminal assault, DWI, drug possession, malicious destruction of property, trespassing and many convictions mixed with various charges dropped by St. Mary’s States Attorney

Doctor admits defrauding Medicare and pumping out phony orders for Oxy pills

Wayne previously pled guilty to a criminal information that charges him with health care fraud and conspiracy to violate the narcotics laws of the United States. In his plea, Wayne admitted to executing a scheme to defraud the Medicare program and attempting to cause a loss in excess of $2,500,000 to Medicare. Wayne also admitted that he conspired with others to knowingly and intentionally prescribe Schedule II controlled substances, such as oxycodone, outside the scope of professional medical practice and not for a legitimate medical purpose, knowing that controlled substances would be distributed illegally.

Eastern Shore Police Beat: pot remains popular among deadheads; district burglars like the beach

Police say that on June 13, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office were called to the 8000 block of Swann Haven Road for a domestic assault. Contact was made with Crystal Lynn Robertson, 42, of Easton, MD who advised she had been assaulted by her live in boyfriend, Bruce Douglas Bradley, 43, of Easton, MD. Robertson had injuries consistent with an assault and was escorted to the District Court Commissioner who issued an arrest warrant and a protective order. Deputies were able to locate and arrest Bradley without incident. Bradley was processed and taken before a District Court Commissioner who ordered him held on a $15,000.00 bond.
