At some point during the incident, the vehicle then turned around and accelerated towards the sheriff’s deputy. Witnesses said the Jeep Cherokee was northbound on Harford Road approaching the victim from behind. Troopers were told the driver of the Jeep appeared to lose control and the vehicle struck the victim from behind. After striking the victim, the Jeep Cherokee did not stop and continued north on Harford Road toward Rt. 152.
