Gerlach’s drug stew lands him in hot pot with cot in slammer in April Fool’s blue-plate special – The Calvert County States Attorney let Gerlach off easy on Feb. 26, 2014 with probation before judgment on a charge of DUI by a controlled substance (drugs) as he motored on Broomes Island Road near Grays Road on Nov. 3, 2013 when arrested by a Calvert Sheriff’s Deputy.
Investigators developed information indicating the victim may have been assaulting his wife, which included inflicting the injury to her head. While he was continuing to threaten her, preliminary evidence indicates Mrs. Tolley retrieved a gun from the house and shot her husband as he approached her.
The charges allege that on Thursday, April 2, 2015, Troopers assigned to the Hope Valley Barracks stopped a New York registered taxi for speeding and other motor vehicle violations on Route 95 North in the Town of Richmond. The taxi driver advised Troopers he was paid $400 to transport Bing Zhou Liu from New York to Massachusetts. During the investigation, a probable cause search of the taxi led to the seizure of five (5) FedEx boxes that contained 85 individually wrapped vacuum sealed bags of marijuana. The total weight of the marijuana seized was approximately eighty-five (85) pounds. The investigation identified Liu as the alleged owner of the marijuana. The estimated value of the marijuana seized is $300,000.

The suspect provided the teller with a note demanding money. The suspect obtained an undisclosed amount of cash then fled on foot toward McDonald’s parking lot and got into a purple or maroon colored older model vehicle and then fled the area. Anyone with information as to the suspect’s identity or whereabouts is asked to contact Detective Dwight Young or Detective John Horsman of the Milford Police Department at 302-422-8081.
The suspect is identified as Jimmie Junior Rogers II, 27, of 8409 Terry Lee Way, Severn, Maryland. Rogers was charged with Human Trafficking of a minor and related prostitution charges. Rogers was taken to the Anne Arundel County District Court where he is awaiting an appearance.
When they arrived, emergency medical technicians from the Wiley Ford Volunteer Fire Department were on the scene. The State Police flight paramedics were able to immediately begin advanced life support care for the child. They could tell he was seriously ill and time was of the essence, so the flight paramedics transported the child to the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center, less than ten minutes away, while continuing to provide advanced life support care.
Murder USA: Another day, another murder in Pretty Gory County – Police say that on April 1, 2015, at about 10:30 pm, officers with the Seat Pleasant Police Department responded to the 400 block of Eastern Avenue for the report of a shooting. Once they arrived, they found Ivy in a parking lot suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead on scene.
