<h4>St. Mary&#8217;s County is awash with drugs and punks with guns. This story moves from one affluent neighborhood to another with Esperanza Farms appearing to have only been the locale of a drug deal that quickly turned to a violent armed robbery when a man who lives in Wildewood was robbed and clobbered by a gang of three alleged felons who now await trial. The &#8220;victim&#8221; &#8211; a drug dealer &#8211; now joins his attackers in the slammer after he is alleged to be dealing in stolen guns and selling weed &#8211; along with charges of aiming gunfire at an occupied waterfront home in Compton.</h4>

<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">COMPTON, MD. – Just a little squabble between an alleged homie drug dealer and his predator customers might be what prompted this scene out of West Baltimore in quiet and rural Compton in St. Mary’s County – or it may be the investigation by police will reveal that the victims were innocent and as pure as the driven snow. Or the vicious attack with guns blasting could have been in retaliation. Everything is on the table with this lead-filled event.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">St. Mary’s Sheriff Tim Cameron reports that a shoot ‘em up right up there with the classic drive-by shootings of the ghettos or even of the Italian mobs left bullet holes smattering a pricey waterfront home that was occupied by what police called “numerous occupants.” The truth may be that they weren&#8217;t innocent.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Teo-Tre Richard Gaston, 18, of 28880 Trent Hall Road, Mechanicsville, Md., his sister, Neisa Jordan Gaston, of Chaptico and Jerel Theodore Gaines, 19, of Great Mills, Md., were charged last month with allegedly robbing drug dealer Nicholas Osborne at Esperanza Beach located at the end of Green Holly Road in Esperanza where the group met to exchange money for weed. <strong><span style="color: #ff0000;">SCENE OF DRUG DEAL AND ROBBERY at Esperanza Farms</span></strong></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Osborne, armed as all successful Mafioso’s are when dealing drugs, told police he was beaten, robbed of his handgun, which was used to give him some good whacks. Published reports state that Court charging documents alleged that Gaines admitted the robbery and like all small-time hoods quickly ratted out his compatriots.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Police say that on February 20, 2018, deputies from the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence in the 30000 block of Mary Helen Way, a small development of waterfront townhouses just off of Joe Hazel Road in Compton.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Sheriff Cameron stated the response was for a report of shots fired into a residence. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Upon arrival, deputies discerned there were numerous occupants in the residence, and one victim had been directly fired at, however the victim was uninjured. A description of the suspect to include clothing worn was disseminated to responding deputies. It was also discovered the victim’s vehicle had been intentionally damaged with spray paint and other corrosive materials.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Responding officers located Nicholas Bruce Osborne, 18, of 23317 Dianthus Way, in the Wildwood neighborhood of California, Md., on foot in the area, after locating his abandoned vehicle. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Police say that Osborne was wearing clothing which matched the description disseminated, and Osborne also had the same color spray paint used to damage the victim’s car on his person. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Interviews by deputies with witnesses in the area revealed Osborne was in a neighboring yard, following the shooting, reports Sheriff Cameron. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Subsequently, a search of the area revealed a handgun concealed in the same vicinity. Osborne was found to be in possession of a significant quantity of a controlled dangerous substance and other prohibited firearms related items.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Osborne was robbed and beaten when he was meeting his customers to sell drugs. His customers are now indicted with that armed robbery.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Maryland State Police Detective Hagan of the Criminal Investigation Division with possession of a firearm by a minor, unlawful sale of a firearm, and possession of a stolen firearm.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Osborne was placed under arrest by St. Mary’s Deputy Holdsworth and transported to the St. Mary’s County Jail and charged with the following criminal violations:</span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Court records show that Osborne was denied bail and will be happy to have the taxpayers dig into their pockets to pay for his lawyer as his alleged drug sales proceeds can’t possibly be exposed to police as those alleged funds might be seized. Of course, the public defender might not give him a robust defense. Oh, the perils of allegedly doing business in stolen guns and drugs. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">In 2008, Bruce Osborne paid $408,000 for the home in which Nicholas Osborne resides in the affluent Wildwood neighborhood. Taxpayers in that neighborhood should be upset that they have to pay for the legal defense of the accused gunman and drug dealer who lives in their neighborhood; however, with Osborne in jail, it might be a safer community. </span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Jerel Theodore Gaines, of 45463 Foxtail Place, Great Mills, Md., was indicted on the same charges as Gaston, on Jan. 8, 2018. On Nov. 22, 2017, Gaines was found guilty of assault on Feb. 20, </span>2018<span style="font-size: 12pt;">, in District Court.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt;">On Feb. 8, 2018, Teo Gaston was indicted by the St. Mary’s Circuit Court Grand Jury on multiple counts regarding the armed robbery of the “victim” drug dealer Nicholas Osborne. The counts of the indictment include armed robbery, felony robbery, conspiracy to robbery, first-degree assault, selling and possessing a stolen firearm. In line with the Alice in Wonderland Maryland Judiciary, this accused armed robber was set loose for pre-trial release on Feb. 14, 2018, making him available for being gunned down, which could be a good thing for the taxpayers.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Teo Gaston was indicted by the Grand Jury for three counts of burglary with a trial set for June 5, 2018.</span></li>

<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Neisa Jordan Gaston was charged on Jan. 18, 2018 with two counts of 4th-degree burglary. Gaston is represented by a taxpayer-provided free attorney from the public defender’s office.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Neisa Gaston, with an address at the Hotel St. Mary’s operated by the Sheriff, was charged on Aug. 11, 2017, with first-degree assault, theft </span>and<span style="font-size: 12pt;"> armed robbery; entered an Alford Plea to misdemeanor assault and theft less than $100 on Jan. 17, 2018 in a plea deal with St. Mary’s States Attorney Richard Fritz. THE DEAL: in exchange for a guilty plea Gaston was sentenced to 30 days in jail.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Deputy Andrew Holton arrested Neisa Gaston, who at the time wasn’t in jail and lived at 23237 Hilltop Drive in Longview Beach in Maddox, Md., and charged with refusing to get out of a public school building on Dec. 28, 2016, when ordered by the school resource officer as well as disorderly conduct. When she failed to appear for trial on Jan. 13, 2017. With attorney Dan Slade representing her, Gaston’ charges were put on the Stet Docket on Sept. 28, 2017, by St. Mary’s States Attorney Richard Fritz.</span></li>
