<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">SUITLAND, MD. – Now PG Cops are talking to anyone who can help them finger the killer or killers of two PG County men on July 9, 2017.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Homicide Unit detectives are working to find the suspect(s) who fatally shot two men Sunday in Suitland. The victims are 22-year-old Courtney Simms of 4203 23rd Parkway in Temple Hills and 23-year-old Anthony Douglas of 28th Avenue in Marlow Heights. A cash reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">On July 9th, at about 7:20 pm, patrol officers responded to the 4600 block of Silver Hill Road for the report of a double shooting. Two Prince George’s Police Officers were nearby and responded within minutes, deploying their department-issued trauma kits. Simms was pronounced dead </span>on<span style="font-size: 12pt;"> the scene. Douglas was taken to the hospital in critical condition where he was pronounced dead a short time later.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Simms was charged by PG Police Cpl. R. Jackson with trespassing on private property on May 10, 2017, perhaps leaving open another act of trespassing resulting in his termination.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Douglas was also charged with motor vehicle theft, theft of more than $1,000 and three counts of burglary, on Aug. 30,</span> <span style="font-size: 10pt;">2016</span><span style="font-size: 10pt;">,</span> <span style="font-size: 12pt;">and was recently arraigned in PG Circuit Court and indicted by a Grand Jury on April 13, 2017.
