Crazy Days at Glory Days When Quan Anh Ly Went on Spree of Chain Swinging

FAIRFAX, VA. — The devil must have launched this train wreck of a madman on the Glory Days on Good Friday.
Fairfax Police report that at 12:37 a.m. at the Glory Days on John Milton Drive, a man approached and threatened patrons and employees that were on the front patio of the popular grill and night spot.
Police say that the madman, armed with a fearsome weapon, swung a large chain forcing the employees to retreat into the building and lock the doors.

Police say that Quan Anh Ly, 33, of Herndon, Va., broke the front doors to the bar with his chain, entered, and continued to swing his chain at employees.
Ly allegedly confronted the bartender who was on the phone with police and grabbed the phone from him and then proceeded to break numerous glasses and bottles. Ly walked to the rear of the restaurant encountering another employee and struck the 58-year-old man injuring his hand, and exited out the back. Police say that the victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
A short time later, officers were called to a nearby house located in the 2500 block of Freetown Drive for a burglary of an occupied dwelling.
The homeowner awoke to the sound of glass breaking. A man had broken both windows alongside of the front door and was attempting to enter.
He fled the scene when the homeowner yelled at him. Ly was later found lying under a nearby car.

Quan Anh Ly, 33, of Herndon, was arrested and charged with malicious wounding, attempted malicious wounding, burglary, and felony destruction of property.
Fairfax Police reported that more charges may be forthcoming.
