MURDER USA: Batter UP! Montey Anthony Bats Dad to Death for Mother’s Day

LANHAM, MD. — Keeping the tradition of holiday murders alive in PG (Pretty Gory) County was a Lanham man who hit a grand slam home run when he knocked his pop into the hereafter. This bat-boy turned into a Batman!
Prince Georges County Police reports that their Homicide Unit detectives arrested a Lanham man for murdering his father at their home on Saturday night. The suspect is 42-year-old Montey Anthony. The victim is 64-year-old Kenneth Williams. Both lived at 8019 Greenfield Drive, Lanham, Md.
On May 7th, at about 8:30 pm, patrol officers were called to Greenfield Drive for the report of an assault. They found Williams in his home suffering from trauma to the body. He was pronounced dead a short time later at a hospital.
The police say that their preliminary investigation reveals Anthony assaulted his father during an argument, causing the fatal injuries. The suspect used a baseball bat in the attack. He has admitted his involvement in the homicide.
Anthony is charged with first and second-degree murder and assault charges.

Prince Georges County States Attorney Angela Alsobrooks dropped assault charges against Montey Eugene Anthony on June 7, 2013, which had been brought by Prince Georges Police Officer Braden on Dec. 14, 2012.
Alsobrooks also dropped assault charges against Anthony on Nov. 10, 2011.
Alsobrooks also dropped traffic charges against Anthony on July 12, 2011, for driving without a permit.
