Triple Stabbing Leaves Martini’s Dry

FORT WASHINGTON, MD. – The Prince George’s County Police Department charged a suspect in connection with a triple stabbing at a Fort Washington club early on April 4, 2016. The suspect is 33-year-old Philip Harrington of 22nd Street in Southeast, Washington, DC.

Harrington is charged with stabbing three men inside of Martini’s located on Cady Drive around 2:00 am. The victims’ injuries are not considered life-threatening. Two of the victims were treated and released.

P.G. Police reports that the preliminary investigation reveals Harrington allegedly stabbed two other patrons during a fight. Police say he also stabbed a security guard who tried to break up the fight. Harrington was arrested outside of the business.

Harrington is charged with three counts of first and second-degree assault.

Police closed the nightclub for public safety.

Martinis advertises that they cater to a hip, mature clientele and features jazz, comedy and R & B singers.
