ALEXANDRIA, VA. – Fairfax County Police say that a man who was found dying of stab wounds died on Good Friday. Not likely to rise from the dead three days later, the cops are now trying to track down who killed the man.

discovered a man lying on the ground unresponsive.

 

Officers were directed to the man who had an injury to his leg consistent with being stabbed. Rescue initially transported him to the Inova Springfield Healthplex, but he was later transported to Inova Fairfax Hospital.

 Major Crimes Division Detectives along with personnel from the Crime Scene Section responded to begin their investigation.

The victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead late last night.

 

The victim has been identified by Fairfax Police as William G. Martines-Palma, 29, of Celtic Drive.
