<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">OCEAN CITY, MD – (March 15, 2016) – It’s time to think about planning a quick trip to the beach this spring but for those who are into using meth to enhance their weekend, the cops at Ocean City have put one alleged supplier out of business, meaning beach-bound meth heads should bring their own brain-degenerating stash.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"> The Ocean City Police Department reports arresting an Ocean City man after a methamphetamine (meth) lab was located in his room at a 59th Street, bay front hotel.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">On March 13, 2016, at approximately 1 p.m., Ocean City police and fire personnel responded to the Coconut Malorie Hotel, located at 200 59th Street, for a report of an individual that was possibly in possession of materials used to manufacture methamphetamine. Upon arrival, officers responded to a room within the hotel and spoke with the subject in question, Andrew S. Windsor, 28, of 200 59<sup>th</sup> Street, #510, Ocean City, Md.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Police said that due to the possible imminent danger of the chemicals used to manufacture methamphetamine, the Ocean City Fire Department evacuated two floors of the hotel.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">While evacuating the building, officers located a trash bag filled with liquid chemical substances and other various items used to manufacture methamphetamine in a stairwell. Fumes were coming from the bag due to a chemical reaction. The trash bag was quickly made safe by Ocean City Fire Marshal’s Office personnel.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Detectives of the Ocean City Police Criminal Investigation Division Narcotics Unit responded and upon investigation, obtained a search warrant for the residence. A search was conducted by the Maryland State Police, Worcester County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Enforcement Team and the Ocean City Fire Marshal’s Office which revealed equipment and component mixtures commonly used in the manufacturing stages of methamphetamine.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Windsor has been charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of products used to manufacture methamphetamine and reckless endangerment. He was seen by a Maryland District Court Commissioner and transferred to the Worcester County Jail where he is currently being held without bond. Detectives also determined that Windsor is wanted on an extraditable warrant out of the State of Florida for violation of probation.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">In addition to the agencies listed above, the Maryland State Police Drug Enforcement Command, DEA and Ocean City Emergency Management responded and assisted with this incident.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Windsor was charged with possession of drugs for distribution on Oct. 25, 2015 by Ocean City Police Officer J. Arnold. In Wicomico County District Court on Jan. 16, 2016, the Wicomico County State’s attorney approved a plea deal that resulted in the charges being put on the Stet Docket with no fine and no time.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">In 2010, Windsor was charged with possession of drugs and fined $500.00 in a plea deal with the Worcester County States Attorney in Worcester County District Court on May 5, 2011.</span></p>
