GUNMAN WITH FAKE BEARD FLED WITH REAL CASH FROM BEACH BANK
OCEAN CITY, MD – Bad Bandit was nasty to tellers when he stuck up a bank.
Ocean City Police reports that they are investigating a bank robbery that occurred at the Bank of Ocean City, located at 12109 Coastal Highway. The robbery took place at approximately 2:15 p.m. on Wednesday, August 24.
According to bank tellers, the suspect entered the bank and demanded money from the tellers, threatening two employees at gunpoint. The suspect then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect is described by police as a light-skinned or African American male in his late 20’s or early 30’s with a medium build. He is approximately 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall and was wearing a floppy or “bucket” hat and a fake beard, a beige jumpsuit and was holding a white package. After robbing the bank, it is believed that the suspect traveled south on Coastal Highway on foot.

Ocean City Police says that citizens are reminded that the suspect is considered armed and dangerous. Citizens should not attempt to approach or detain the suspect, however; should immediately contact police.
