<h2>Two bodies found in boat remains after fire swept marina</h2>

<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">MIDDLESEX CO., Va. – The cause and origin of a fatal fire at a Middlesex County marina are currently under investigation by the Virginia State Police and Middlesex County Sheriff’s Office. At approximately 4:34 a.m., Monday (Feb. 29), a fire broke out at the Dozier Port Urbanna Marina in the Town of Urbanna.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">The fire quickly spread and consumed a boathouse and storage facility. Twenty-one boats were also destroyed in the blaze, as well as two cars parked in the marina’s parking lot.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Fourteen volunteer fire departments from around the region responded to the scene to assist Middlesex County Fire and Rescue with containing the blaze, which was under control by 8:30 a.m. Monday. The U.S. Coast Guard is on the scene for environmental containment and </span>clean<span style="font-size: 12pt;"> up. Also assisting at the scene are the Virginia Marine Resources Commission (VMRC) and the Virginia Department of Emergency Management (VDEM).</span></p>
