MURDER USA: Fairfax Police ruled the death of a man found in an apartment to be a homicide
UPDATE: The victim of the homicide at 5597 Seminary Road has been identified as 35-year-old Babtunde Fadahunsi. Next of kin has been officially notified. Detectives have reason to believe that this was not a random event. There is no suspect information but detectives will continue their investigation throughout the night.

Fairfax County Fire and Rescue responded to the report of an unresponsive person at an apartment in the 5500 block of Seminary Road, on Tuesday, February 23, 2016, shortly after 2:30 p.m. Based on their initial examination, they determined that the subject had sustained an apparent gunshot wound and was deceased. The victim is an adult male.
Police were called to the scene and are in the initial stages of their investigation.
