<h2><strong>Won’t Be Going to Disney World After Being Nabbed by Delaware Troopers Following Tip from Loyal Off-Duty Employee on Super Bowl Sunday</strong></h2>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">GLASGOW, DEL. – One citizen commented on the Delaware State Police Facebook page that the two men nabbed as suspects in a series of armed robberies of convenience stores should be duct taped to the front door of the Wawa he tried to rob as an example to his fellow heathen criminals of what an imbecile looks like. Another person calculated that both of them would soon be back out on the streets due to a liberal judge. For now, Joseph Nost Jr. and his wheelman, Jeffrey A. Cagle, are both in the slammer on charges of armed robbery. Their capture was due to the quick thinking of an off-duty Wawa employee.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Delaware State Police reports that robbery unit detectives have arrested a pair of Newark men following a string of robberies and attempted robberies that occurred this past weekend.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">On Sunday, February 7, 2016, at approximately 2:30 a.m., troopers were contacted by the New Castle County Regional Communications Center and told to respond to the Wawa, located at 1605 Pulaski Highway, Bear, Delaware, for the report of a possible robbery in progress. As troopers were responding, they were advised that an off-duty employee of the Wawa had been in the parking lot of the business when he observed a white van matching the description of a vehicle that had been used in a previous robbery of the store entering the parking lot. The employee then watched as a male suspect exited the passenger seat of the van and proceeded to pull the hood of his jacket over his head. The suspect re-entered the van which then pulled to the rear of the store and parked. The same suspect then exited the van and entered the store. As this was occurring, the Wawa employee contacted 9-1-1 and telephoned the store to warn the employees of a possible robbery.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">After entering the store, the suspect approached a sales clerk and demanded money from the register. The clerk, however, opened an empty cash register. The suspect then exited the store without obtaining any money. The suspect, later identified as Joseph M. Nost Jr., 25, of Newark, was immediately taken into custody without incident by responding troopers. The operator of the white van, later identified as Jeffrey A. Cagle, 54, of Newark, was also taken into custody without incident as he sat in the van. There were no injuries.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Joseph Nost and Jeffrey Cagle (pictured in glasses) were both arrested and transported to Troop 2, Glasgow. After further investigation, detectives were able to link the two to several robberies and attempted robberies which had been occurring in the area since Friday, February 5, 2016. In addition to the attempted robbery of the Wawa on February 7, detectives charged the pair in connection with the following robberies:</span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Joseph Nost was charged by detectives with Robbery 1st Degree, Conspiracy 1st Degree, two counts of Attempted Robbery 1st Degree, two counts of Robbery 2nd Degree, four counts of Conspiracy 2nd Degree, two counts of Attempted Robbery 2nd Degree, and Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon. He was arraigned at JP Court 11 and then committed to the Howard Young Correctional Institution in default of $90,000.00 secured bail.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Jeffrey Cagle was charged by detectives with Robbery 1st Degree, Conspiracy 1st Degree, two counts of Robbery 2nd Degree, two counts of Conspiracy 2nd Degree, two counts of Attempted Robbery 2nd Degree, and two counts Conspiracy 2nd Degree. He was also arraigned at JP Court 11 and committed to the Howard Young Correctional Institution for lack of $49,000.00 secured bail.</span></p>
