HAVE YOU SEEN THE BLACK BANDIT?

MCLEAN, VA.  The Fairfax County police report that the Black Bandit has struck again, this time striking in McLean, Va. Police say that this armed robbery took place at 2900 block of Cedar Lane. 12/29/15, 1:25 a.m.

A 26-year-old man, operating a tow truck, parked in front of a 7-Eleven store and went inside. He returned to his truck and shortly thereafter, was approached by a man who displayed a handgun and demanded money. The victim handed over an undisclosed amount of cash and was not injured.

The suspect fled on foot. K9 responded and tracked the suspect’s path east, toward the 8600 block of Lee Highway. The suspect was described as being black, 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall. He was wearing all black clothing and a black mask covering his face.
