<p><strong>Drug suspect led pursuing trooper on chase all the way to his house where he bailed out with his stash of heroin</strong></p>
<p>MAGNOLIA, DEL. – Delaware State Police announced that Troopers had arrested a Magnolia man for heroin possession after a short vehicle pursuit was initiated for traffic violations. After the chase, the drug suspect ran into the woods but took his stash with him.</p>
<p>The incident occurred around 12:55 p.m. Tuesday, October 27, 2015, as a trooper on patrol in the area of Millchop Lane, observed a green Nissan Altima operating with some equipment violations. The trooper attempted to initiate a traffic stop on the vehicle in the area of Stevenson Drive, but the operator continued without stopping and began driving through the Meadowbrook Acres development at a high rate of speed. The car eventually stopped at his residence located in the 100 block of Lambert Drive where the operator, who was later identified as Ray O. Horsey, 31, fled on foot.</p>

<p>Ray Horsey was transported back to Troop 3 where he was charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver Heroin, Possession of Marijuana, two counts of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Disregarding a Police Officer&#8217;s Signal, Resisting Arrest, Driving While Suspended or Revoked, Aggressive Driving, and various other traffic-related offenses. He was arraigned at JP2 and committed to James T. Vaughn Correctional Center on $14,101.00 cash bond.</p>
