<h3 class="post-title entry-title">Underage “Compliance Checks” conducted by St. Mary&#8217;s County Sheriff&#8217;s Office</h3>

<div id="post-body-4701727799741443884" class="post-body entry-content"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">St. Mary&#8217;s County Sheriff Tim Cameron reports that a sting of retailers and bars that serve liquor found six establishments that sold to an underage person, including that owned by Dave Dent, a top official in the<a href="http://www.mslba.org/about_us.htm" target="_blank"> state-wide beverage dealers group</a> as well as the president of the St. Mary&#8217;s County Licensed Beverage Association. </span></div>

<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">On October 22, 2015, the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office Alcohol Enforcement Coordinator, Cpl. James Stone conducted underage “Compliance Checks” at various business establishments possessing liquor licenses throughout St. Mary’s County. During these compliance checks, underage informants entered random establishments and attempted to purchase alcohol beverages. </span></div>

<div class="post-body entry-content"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">The following six establishments failed the compliance checks. Also, the retail locations will be cited for sale of liquor to minors and will face possible fines and/or suspension of their liquor licenses.</span><br />
