MANASSAS, VA. – On June 27th at 9:15PM, officers responded to Potomac Metals, Inc. located at 11900 Livingston Rd in Manassas (20109) to investigate an alarm activation. Officers arrived at the business and discovered the main entrance was unlocked. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the business. A safe in an interior office appeared to have been tampered with; however, no property was reported missing.

WOODBRIDGE, VA. – On June 26th at 10:31PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 14700 block of Bryan Ct in Woodbridge to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 8:00AM on June 23rd and 7:00PM on June 26th. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the home. A safe containing money, jewelry and miscellaneous paperwork were reporting missing.
Forsyth charged with molesting child
MANASSAS, VA. – According to Prince William County Police, on June 27th, detectives from the Special Victims Unit responded to investigate a sexual assault which was reported to have occurred at a residence located in the 11200 block of Lady Jane Lp in Manassas over the past year. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 9-year-old girl, was sexually assaulted by the accused, a known family member, on more than one occasion between January of 2014 and June and 2015. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.
