When officers arrived at the business, they observed the front glass door had been shattered. The store was checked by officers and no one was found inside. No property appeared to be missing at the time of the report. A police K-9 was used to check the area.</p>

The business owner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 1:15AM and 7:45AM. The investigation revealed that the front glass door to the above business was found shattered. <p>BRISTOW, VA. – On June 7th at 4:03PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 11800 block of Frank Haskell Ct in Bristow (20136) to investigate an attempted burglary. The homeowner reported to police that sometime between 12:00PM on June 1st and 1:00PM on June 6th, entry was attempted into the residence through a rear window which was found damage. No entry was made and no property was reported missing.</p>

<p>WOODBRIDGE, VA. – On June 5th at 2:30PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 13300 block of Telegraph Rd in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate an attempted burglary. The homeowner reported to police that sometime between 10:10AM and 2:20PM on June 5th, entry was attempted into the residence through a rear window which was found disturbed. No entry was made and no property was reported missing.</p>
<h1>Attempted Residential Burglary</h1>
<p>– On June 5th at 11:05AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 9500 block of Damascus Dr in Manassas (20109) to investigate a burglary in progress. The homeowner reported to police that around 10:55AM, the doorbell rang several times but was not answered by the homeowner. A few minutes later, the homeowner heard a noise coming from the side of the home. Upon looking outside, two unknown suspects were observed attempting to enter the home through a rear sliding glass door. Once discovered, the suspects fled from the area in a vehicle prior officers arriving at the home. No entry was made into the residence and no property was reported missing.</p>

<p>Both suspects were seen driving away in an older model silver or tan vehicle.</p>

<h1>Tanner Charged with Stabbing Culpepper Man at Rimpall Inn</h1>
<p>MANASSAS, VA. – On June 4th at 12:01AM, officers responded to the Rimpall Inn located at 7399 Old Centreville Rd in Manassas to investigate a stabbing. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 21-year-old man of Culpeper, and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, the accused retrieved a knife and cut the victim to his upper body. The parties eventually separated and police were contacted. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries.</p>
<p>The accused fled the scene prior to police arriving in the area. A police K-9 located the suspect a short time later. During the arrest, the accused actively resisted and was eventually detained. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.</p>

<h1>Already being in jail didn’t deter criminal conduct for inmates</h1>
<p>MANASSAS, VA. – On June 3rd at 4:27PM, officers responded to the Adult Detention Center located at 9320 Lee Ave in Manassas (20110) to investigate an assault between two inmates. The investigation revealed that the accused approached another inmate, a 53 year old man, and assaulted him, knocking him unconscious. The assault was allegedly unprovoked. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.</p>

<h1>When words failed to injure; combatants turned to sticks and stones</h1>
<p>WOODBRIDGE, VA. – <strong>God made the world in six days and on the seventh while he rested, the Devil made Woodbridge, Va</strong>.</p>
<p>On June 4th at 6:24PM, officers responded to the 2900 block of the Prince William Pkwy in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a fight. The investigation revealed that two individuals, identified as Jasper BATES and Franchesca JACKSON, were in the area above when they saw and confronted another man, identified as Marques BURKE, at his vehicle in the parking lot over an ongoing issue.</p>
<p>During the encounter, the BATES suspect picked up a large landscaping rock and threw it at BURKE’s vehicle. The impact shattered the rear window of the vehicle and the rock nearly struck a 6-year-old boy seated in the vehicle at the time.</p>
<p>A physical encounter ensued between both men, at which point, the BURKE suspect picked up one of the landscaping rocks and struck the BATES suspect in the head, knocking him unconscious. After that encounter, the JACKSON suspect approached BURKE and began assaulting him over the incident with BATES. The BURKE suspect left the area prior to police arriving and was eventually located at his residence on Blazer Lp. Minor injuries were reported. Following the investigation, all parties were arrested.</p>

<h1>Jose David Cordova-Mejia charged with failing to belt child</h1>
<p>MANASSAS, VA. – THE idea of having kids fastened in seat belt apparently didn’t get through to one man, say police. On June 7th at 8:26AM, officers responded to investigate a crash which was reported to have occurred in the 10100 block Lomond Dr. in Manassas earlier that morning around 5:00AM.</p>
<p>The investigation revealed that the victim, a 5 year old girl, was sitting unrestrained in the lap of the accused when the vehicle was involved in a crash. Both the victim and the accused were passengers in the vehicle at the time of the crash. As a result, the victim sustained minor injuries and was taken to area hospital for treatment where police were contacted. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested without incident.</p>

<p>WOODBRIDGE, VA. – Prince William County Police report that the use of a belt on a kid has landed a man in the slammer. On June 6th at 4:42PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 10800 block of Campaign Ct in Woodbridge to investigate an assault. The investigation revealed that the accused struck the victim, an 8 year old boy, with a belt multiple times between June 1st and June 2nd. The accused and victim are known to one another. Minor injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested without incident.</p>

<h1>Teen Thug Kicked Cop</h1>
<p>WOODBRIDGE, VA. – This teenager didn’t think she had to listen to cops and perhaps thought that Rev. Al Sharpton would show up to preach her cause when she began kicking a police officer. Now she is in the juvie slammer.</p>
<p>Police report that this Thugarella was in the midst of a domestic dispute when it all went south.</p>
<p>Police report that on June 7th at 12:15AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 13300 block of Huntington Ln in Woodbridge (the neighbors likely know which house) to investigate a domestic dispute.</p>
<p>During the investigation, officers attempted to arrest the accused on an unrelated matter. During the arrest, the accused resisted and kicked one of the officers to his chest. The accused was eventually detained without further incident. Minor injuries were reported.</p>

<h1>Wild Woman of Borneo Ripped off Cop’s Badge &; Glasses</h1>
<p>WOODBRIDGE, VA. – She was homeless and now she has a home.</p>
<p>Police say that on June 6th at 9:24PM, officers responded to the 12200 block of Cinnamon St in Woodbridge to investigate a fight. When the officer arrived, a woman, later identified as the accused, was observed acting disorderly and striking the side door of an occupied vehicle.</p>
<p>As officers approached the accused, she was given commands to stop her actions which she refused and struck one of the officers in the chest. A struggle ensued and the accused continued striking the officer, knocking off his glasses and ripping the badge from his shirt.</p>
<p>The accused was eventually detained without further incident. Minor injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.</p>

<h1>Cops found alleged car thief hiding under bed; escaped from cruiser winning another day of freedom</h1>
<p>WOODBRIDGE, VA. &#8212; Houdini Mark Love is his name and escaping from the police is his game. Officers might have a sticky wicket filling out the paperwork on the escape of a handcuffed prisoner from custody as he was deposited in the rear of a police car. Such an arrangement is generally believed, in law enforcement circles, to be what is needed to move a prisoner to jail.</p>
<p>Police say that on June 6th at 7:31PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 4300 block of Whitmer Dr. in Woodbridge to investigate an unauthorized use of a vehicle. The vehicle owner reported to police that the accused, Mark Love, a known acquaintance, took their vehicle without permission.</p>
<p>Officers responded to the residence of the accused located on Joplin Rd. where he was located hiding under a bed in a back bedroom.</p>
<p>Officers further learned that the accused was wanted by another jurisdiction on an unrelated matter. The accused was handcuffed and placed in the backseat of a police cruiser where was then able to free one of his hands, reach through a window and open the door. A police K-9 and helicopter were used to search for the suspect. The accused was eventually located the next day at a residence on Gordon Blvd where he was arrested without further incident.</p>
