Cops say texts revealed motive for Riddle; charged with digital love puzzle with student

SALISBURY, MD.  A Bennett Middle School teacher has been charged by the Wicomico County Grand Jury with growing a love affair with a student by way of text messages.
According to Wicomico County Sheriff Mike Lewis, who has been recently starring on national television as an expert on the causation of the Baltimore riots, his deputies began a probe which began on May 5, 2015.
The deputies began to investigate a series of texts between a teacher at Bennett Middle School and a 14 year old student.
The Sheriff identified the teacher, Kelly Riddle, 32, of Salisbury, who allegedly sent frequent text messages to the juvenile that were interpreted as expressing love and affection. During the investigation it was revealed that the messaging had been ongoing for over eleven months between the teacher and student.
Riddle was indicted by a Wicomico County Grand Jury on May 18, 2015 on the charges of Sex Abuse of a Minor and Attempted Sex Abuse of a Minor. Riddle was released from the Wicomico County Detention Center after posting a bond of $25,000.00.
