12pt&semi;">LEONARDTOWN&comma; MD&period;  – Deep in the land of the flask&comma; fiddle and dark-roasted possum lives a special breed of folks who believe in solving all manner of domestic disputes with guns or knives&period;  The alleged facts in this case of the Naked Country are provided courtesy of St&period; Mary’s Sheriff Tim Cameron&period;<&sol;span><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><span style&equals;"font-size&colon; 12pt&semi;">Cameron reports that on May 9&comma; 2015&comma; at 8&colon;30 PM&comma; St&period; Mary’s County Sheriff’s Deputy James Bare responded to a residence at 23208 Clarks Rest Road in Leonardtown&comma; for a reported domestic assault&period;<&sol;span><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><span style&equals;"font-size&colon; 12pt&semi;">The victim alleged suspect Patrick Roy Thompson&comma; 30&comma; of Leonardtown&comma; grabbed the victim by the arm&semi; shoved and punched the victim in the face during an argument&period; Thompson then went to the garage and retrieved a machete&period; When the victim entered the doorway of the garage&comma; Thompson was placed under arrest and transported to the St&period; Mary’s County Detention Center&period; He was charged with 1st and 2nd Degree Assault&period;<&sol;span><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><span style&equals;"font-size&colon; 12pt&semi;">Thompson was released from jail on May 10&comma; 2015 and is represented by attorney Anne Emery&comma; a former prosecutor who enjoys a good reputation as a criminal defense attorney&period; Hopewell Manor Trailer Park&comma; most of the shabby old trailers have been replaced by modern miracles of manufactured housing&period;  But somehow&comma; some of the old-time hood types seem to still be the indigenous population with a strong bent for violence and crime&period;<&sol;span><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><span style&equals;"font-size&colon; 12pt&semi;">Sheriff Tim Cameron&comma; who has been haunting the hoods of Lexington Park since before Carter made liver pills&comma; reports that on May 9&comma; 2015&comma; Deputy Jason Smith responded to Sell Drive in Lexington Park&comma; for a reported stabbing&period;<&sol;span><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><span style&equals;"font-size&colon; 12pt&semi;">The Sheriff reports that a male victim was found on the ground with a stab wound in the upper groin area and a laceration on his wrist&period; The victim was initially transported to MedStar St&period; Mary’s Hospital for treatment&period;<&sol;span><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><span style&equals;"font-size&colon; 12pt&semi;">Police say that the investigation revealed suspect William Tommy Hall&comma; 46&comma; of 46475 Chapman Drive&comma; Lexington Park&comma; and the victim had been at a party&period; When they returned home&comma; intoxicated&comma; they began to argue&period; Hall allegedly stabbed the victim during the argument&period; Hall was placed under arrest and transported to the St&period; Mary’s County Detention Center&period; He was charged with 1st and 2nd Degree Assault&period;  Hall faces his first court date on June 9&comma; 2015&period;<&sol;span><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<h1><span style&equals;"font-size&colon; 12pt&semi;">Throat holds legal when suspect is drunk<&sol;span><&sol;h1>&NewLine;<p><span style&equals;"font-size&colon; 12pt&semi;">GREAT MILLS&comma; MD&period; – According to St&period; Mary’s Sheriff Tim Cameron on May 16&comma; 2015&comma; at 12&colon;30 PM&comma; Deputy Roszell responded to a residence in the 45000 block of Fox Chase Drive in Lexington Park&comma; for a reported domestic assault&period; The victim alleged suspect Ryan Steven Michael&comma; 25&comma; of Lexington Park&comma; came to the residence intoxicated and an argument ensued&period; Michael pushed the victim causing an injury to the victim’s foot&period; Michael then grabbed the victim around the throat&period; Deputy Roszell observed injuries on the victim consistent with what had allegedly occurred&period; Michael was placed under arrest&period; There was also an active peace order with Michael as the respondent and another occupant of the home was the petitioner&period; The peace order prohibits Michael from entering the residence&period; Michael was charged with 2nd Degree Assault and Violation Peace Order&period;<&sol;span><&sol;p>&NewLine;<h1><span style&equals;"font-size&colon; 12pt&semi;">Show and Tell with Knife<&sol;span><&sol;h1>&NewLine;<p><span style&equals;"font-size&colon; 12pt&semi;">MECHANICSVILLE&comma; MD&period; – Police say that on May 17&comma; 2015&comma; Deputy McCuen responded to a residence at 38681 Stockett Run Lane in Mechanicsville&period; The alleged suspect Andrew Lee Seyler&comma; 26&comma; of Mechanicsville&comma; and the victim engaged in an argument over Seyler being evicted from the home&period; During the argument&comma; the victim and Seyler began pushing each other&period; Seyler then retrieved a knife from his pants pocket&comma; opened the blade and pointed it at the victim&period; Seyler threw the knife down after another person intervened&period; Seyler was placed under arrest and transported to the St&period; Mary’s County Detention Center&period; He was charged with 1st Degree Assault by Dep&period; Matthew McCuen&period;<&sol;span><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><span style&equals;"font-size&colon; 12pt&semi;">In Charles County Circuit Court in charges filed on Dec&period; 23&comma; 2014&comma; Seyler was charged with failing to obey a traffic signal and three counts of driving while intoxicated&period;  On Jan&period; 29&comma; 2015 in a plea deal with Charles County States Attorney Tony Covington&comma; Seyler entered a plea of guilty and received probation before judgment with a jail term of one year which was all suspended&comma; and unsupervised probation for three years&period; Seyler was fined &dollar;300&period;<&sol;span><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<h1><span style&equals;"font-size&colon; 12pt&semi;">Fool at the Pool Charged with Burglary of Home<&sol;span><&sol;h1>&NewLine;<p><span style&equals;"font-size&colon; 12pt&semi;">GREAT MILLS&comma; MD&period;  – When looking for one suspect in a crime an officer often finds someone else who may or may not be the original suspect or simply another bonus round&period;<&sol;span><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><span style&equals;"font-size&colon; 12pt&semi;">Police say that on May 19&comma; 2015&comma; Deputy Siciliano responded to a residence on Winding Way in Lexington Park&comma; after a caller to 911 reported a burglary in progress&period; The caller provided a description of the suspect&period; While responding&comma; Deputy Muschette observed a suspect matching the description nearby at the Great Mills pool&period; Deputy Muschette stopped and detained the suspect identified as James Brian Thompson Jr&period;&comma; 19&comma; of 45750 Oregon Way in Great Mills&period; The investigation revealed&comma; a witness observed a suspect enter a nearby home and exit with a mini motorcycle&period;<&sol;span><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><span style&equals;"font-size&colon; 12pt&semi;"> A short time later the same suspect returned and forced entry into home a second time through a window&period; Thompson was subsequently identified as the suspect who burglarized the home and was placed under arrest by Deputy Taylore Siciliano&period; Thompson was transported to the St&period; Mary’s County Detention Center and charged with 3rd Degree Burglary&comma; 4th Degree Burglary&comma; Property Destruction Under &dollar;1&comma;000&comma; and Theft Under &dollar;1&comma;000&period;<&sol;span><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><span style&equals;"font-size&colon; 12pt&semi;">Thompson&comma; who formerly lived on King Drive in Oakville&comma; was charged on Sept&period; 12&comma; 2014 with disturbing school operations by St&period; Mary’s Sheriff’s Deputy Andrew Holton&comma; the school resource officer at Chopticon High School&period; In District Court for St&period; Mary’s County Thompson was represented by two welfare attorneys&comma; Ryan Posey and Gerald J&period; Riviello in arranging a plea deal on Dec&period; 11&comma; 2014&period; Thompson pleaded guilty and received probation before judgment with States Attorney Richard Fritz allowing the sentence of ten days in jail to be completely suspended and no fine imposed&comma;
