HOBOCIDE
ANNANDALE, VA. — The same motivators of murder that exist in expensive neighborhoods – greed, jealousy, petty arguments over drugs and booze and so on – can be just as lethal in hobo camps and squatter units in apartment buildings.
Fairfax Police report that their investigation of a suspicious death led them to charge Ubaldo Lopez Yanez, 31, who has no fixed address, with murder. While the identity of the victim has yet to be determined, police believe the suspect and victim were known to each other. Preliminary information suggests that that both the victim and suspect were homeless men using an unoccupied apartment.
